DOH! I'm glad Cali has a mandatory helmet law... being a motorcycle bad enough, not protecting your head? wtf was he thinking?

Hmm, might not be life threatening, but maybe season/ career ending.

Roethlisberger continued to ride after Winslow's accident and that angered Terry Bradshaw, who quarterbacked the Steelers to four Super Bowl victories during the 1970s.

A silver Chrysler New Yorker traveling in the opposite direction took a left turn and collided with the motorcycle, and Roethlisberger was thrown, police said.

messed up his face pretty good. o well, he wasn't really that good looking to begin with. riding a motorcycle = i have a deathwish. my brother-in-law has one and i keep telling him, but he insists he is a good rider just like everybody else, but in New Jersey it doesn't matter how good of a rider you are, there is some maniac who is going to take you out regardless.
 
they reported the knee thing earlier, but nothing in depth... he had surgery in season too....

i wonder if he will play again.

my money is not this season.

Knee injuries are minor and is mostly road rash/abrasions.

Expected recovery time is 8 weeks. Strong possibility that he will play this season.

I really cant feel sorry for him since he had on zero riding gear and no helmet esp. He prolly wasnt experianced to even ride a entry level 600 (not even a superbike 600 but like a zx600E etc)

anyways

he is a dumb ass for no riding gear and being him and whol he is a dumb ass for even riding and busas are POS big time

he couldnt get any uglier LOL

thats why i got rid of mine (both wrecks for me were on the track and in controlled areas, I was just going to fast both times and took turns 2 quick)


uve seen the pics i posted of my wrecked 600 an my fucked up leg., plus the pics of my bros hand missing too

you are right. busas are shit. handle like pigs. outclassed everywhere unless they are juiced with a big turbo on the 1/4 mile.
 
Motorcycles are accidents waiting to happen. You don't have fender benders on a motorcycle.

Naa ya just get cuts,scrapes, breaks, death and all sorts of life lingering injuries.
 
In the ER, I've seen plenty of people die who were riding "donor-cycles"...with & without all the gear. But, you do greatly increase your chances of survival by wearing a good helmet...or should I say you do greatly increase your risk of death or serious head injury by not wearing a good helmet?

maybe the plastic surgeons will make some improvements.

i never saw those pics and i don't want to, i have a very weak stomach when it comes to that kind of stuff. i get sick just thinking about it.

Rider must have been bad on the Busa. I have a 1392 big bore 02 Busa that will roast the fuck out of any liter bike made. I have 06 GSXR1000 with minimal mods that will make ZX10s eat my ass too. The gixxer is quicker than the busa IMHO and its nimble as fuck...but NOTHING touches the Busa on pure speed and grunt.

except maybe those new damn zx14's...stock for stock they whoop the hell out of anything...what are they putting out somewhere close to 200 RWHP? SICK
 
Damn kids

You get a one in a million chance to absolutely clean up financially and all you have to do is have the minimal IQ necessary to avoid needless risks while you have a chance to earn.

He's a good competitor. Hope he gets better soon
