that crostini was so fucking good. and for dessert she gets a little bit a my homemade limoncello and then we're headed out to a local joint that makes the best tiramisu.

I'm not a great baker, so I typically shy away from desserts. I make good pistacchio biscotti. I want to try a dessert with my limoncello. recommendations?

Too bad you're not a baker. When I was a young kid my folks took me to the same Italian restaurant every year for my birthday. I overlooked the fact we weren't Italian because they always had the best traditional birthday rum cake ever. Good times. I would've suggested substituting limoncello for the rum. It'd have matched up well with chocolate.

I guess an easy substitute would be macerated fruit, also of your people. This one looked good on a quick search:

OMG thats easy as shit bro. I mean you can just drizzle the limonecello over fruit for god sakes.

Wnat to get real freaky with it. Make a limoncello cream out of it bro. Then you can put the cream on just about anything. Fruit,cakes, ice cream just about anything.

Just do a google search on limoncello cream and read a few. You will be able to get the just of the idea.
