FUck Im out of the loop, and I was plastered at my house last night so wasn't there..But I guess after we won the Hockey game my school erupted in one big party, cops showed in riot gear, tear gas, ace, bet people, lots of fights, fires, prop destroyed, big bonfire built on fraternity row, crazy fucking shit, school will be uinteresting tomorrow

I've never understood the whole need to riot and loot when ones favorite sports team wins a championship. What drives men to do this? You don't see women smashing windows and flipping cars. I bet the shop owners in Chicago are glad the Bulls aren't winning any more titles anymore.

Maybe it was a backlash against the women's basketball coach leaving to go to Maryland. Maybe it was frustration about Clem Haskins and how he fucked the men's program up. Maybe it was a celebration that hockey is the only thing the Gophers got going.

Then again, who knows. It wasn't like that when the Twins won the Series in '87 and '91.

k update on my what happened at my fraternity

3 of my friends got beaten by the cops, yea they ran up and beat 2 of my friends on our porch they weren't doing anything, the other was kicked to the ground and pummeled in the street, all hit with billy clubs,15 got maced, they through tear gas at our porch, one cop came in the doorway and sprayed mace all over the living room then ran back out...they basically just attacked any kid they saw, ridiculous

There was no looting, this was pure police bullshit, the kids were just out singing the rouser and cops threatened em that they couldn't be out and owuld move them, they came in riot gear, one kid through a snowball and the cops maced a crowd..thats what Ive gotten out of the start of all this
