Since ive gone to uni I've met a few guys that are really just using the label student to hide under while they live it up off their parents money.

26 yrs old... hasn't worked a day in his life. Spent 5 years in the second year of his course.

Another spent 4 in the first year....

Of course they have their own luxury car, rent a big apartment in the middle of town, never cook for themselves or wash or iron... (they eat out in high end places every day, and bring all their clothing to the dry cleaners)

Go out and drink and party 4 nights or 5 a week and of course everyone in town knows them and they get laid ALL the time...

They are constantly making trips all over the world...
Do pure cocaine in the bedroom with their fuckbuddies...

So whats my point I suppose you will think im jealous of them and hate them. Well no it shows me bluntly just how important money is. These guys own this place. and why would they bother studying hard... their daddy can get them a good function in "marketing" for his company or something of the like....

I know many doing this too...just extending the amount of time they can live up the party life. lucky them i guess....but for the most part they are missing something else in their lives

Rich or poor it does not matter. We're here for a short time and then we die. Our entire life is a "waiting room" for death to call your number. Being rich gives you a nicer "waiting room".

What do you mean by this? You just figured that out? I remember your thread about, "I don`t need money" or I have everything I need..." Something like that. That certainly may be the case and good for you, but at least the facts should be known... Money can do anything.

I think that is as much bad parenting as it is money because I KNOW that I would get dissowned if I tried to do things like that reguardless of money.

Likewise, even if I become the richest man in the world I would not put up with my kids (I don't know how I would end up with kids) being bumbs.

I wonder about the same thing

its not like theyll ever be in trouble for it or anything... like i said some families its just impossible to become poor no matter how you fuck up

That seems to be more common and a little worse in Europe than in the US. Many (not all) of the rich American familes are only a couple generations away from the man who actully made the family what it is, meanwhile in Europe there might be dozens of generations seperating them.

Nobility doesn't even remember why theirs forefathers ever became nobility. They just are, it makes them better than others, and they inherit lots of money and some other blue bloods can get them a good job

Sounds like a neat deal huh...

There are very few of them left though

its still quite a big thing in germany and austria though

Many are actually quite insulted if you call them Herr (sir) when they have a title...

It's not as bad as Americans think though. There's a lot of "new money" going on too. I dont see a lot of old money disappearing though. But as the population grows they become less "present"

That's why I love America

In Europe you have entire wasted generations of these types, one following the other, and no one thinks a thing.

In the US you have wealthy kids, but there is more societal pressure for them to accomplish something on their own and make good on their lives.

In Europe the behavior is far more acceptable, and even admired

Its not admired by anyone but their peers
It's also shrinking in rapid pace. It used to be there was a whole class of these people. Nowadays theres only a handful left.
