Returning beginner w/ questions

Haven't pumped the iron seriously since I got married (12yrs ago) :D and I'm getting back into working out and it's a whole new world out there. I have some dieting and supplementaion questions.

225 lbs
Need to lose about 25-35lbs. :(

I want to be able to burn off the fat quickly while still building muscle.
I just started doing 30min cardio every morning and alternate training my muscle groups daily.
I am on a low carb diet but have troubles with carb cravings at night.

Need feedback on thermos and muscle fuel.

I've been reading about Thermorexin - like what I've read. Not sure if it's right for what I want to do.

I think TREX will be a great addition to your future plans...I like the a.m. cardio as well

What's your current diet like? How many meals per day? What does your meals consist of? How much H2O a day?
 
Still getting used less carbs.

I usually have 2 eggs in the morning, maybe some bacon, after my workout

Chicken w/ some sort of salad for lunch. Or lean brisket.

Chicken/fish for dinner w/ steamed vegetables (zuchinni usually)

Only 3 meals, working on adding the other three - protein shakes (?? muscle fuel??) or tuna.

I consume probably 64 - 96oz of water a day. I normally stay away for cokes.

I am thinking about adding Flaxseed to my diet, I live in TX and the quality/quantity of fresh seafood is limited.

I need a GOOD protein supplement to feed my muscles after a hard workout?? Any suggestions would be great.
 
On a low carb diet like that I believe you need to increase your fat intake. I would add some red meat that is not a real lean cut and olive oil to the salad. I find that if my fat intake is too low, or I am not getting enough cals during the day I get cravings at night. How many cals a day are you planning on eating?
