Restoring Natural Test Production... Never Juiced

jimbotronic

New member
Hi guys... I need some help.

I just got a bunch of blood work done a few weeks ago it shows that my free test levels are really low.... as in off the normal reference range by a significant amount. That would explain the lack of 'drive' and fatigue I've been experiencing for the last few months.

I'm 28 and have never juiced... the only thing I can think of that may have had an effect was propecia/proscar that I had been taking on and off for the last few years. It's been around 4-5 months since I stopped using it though.

I saw a post a while back about someone restoring/correcting their natural test production using arimidex... that particular individual had never juiced either.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Did you have estradiol levels tested as well?If they are slightly elevated, then yes,liquidex/anastrozole would definitely boost your T levels back up signifigantly in no time flat.

Lab Results...

Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I had quiet a few things tested... I was adament on a thorough evaluation. Here are my pertinent results:

DHEAS: 2.9 (2.6 - 7.7) umol/L
LH: 2 (1 - 10) IU/L
Estradiol: 66 (50 - 218) pmol/L
Free Testosterone: 34.6 (40 - 85) pmol/L
Total Testosterone: 15.4 (8 - 38) nmol/L

Can you make anything of this?... the estradiol appears to be in the 'normal' range.

Thanks.

I hear you jimbotronic, I had my test checked, and I got a score of 240 on a scale of 225-800. Even before cycling I had tested on the low range on several occasions, this was before hitting the juice, which is something I haven't done for almost 6 months now. Fonz has speculted that my problem may be prolactin based. I am going in again in another month to get levels checked. I will have them test:

-testosterone
-LH
-FSH
-estrogen
-progesterone
-prolactin

I'll share any info I get.

Bump for those trying to get back to "normal".

Would it be possible for a doc to hook you up. If its a medical condition they should treat it.

Jim,I will speculate on this, but I would bet that light liquidex/anastrozole usage would drop your estradiol levels down to almost a non-existant range, and the feedback loop would signal the pituitary to start cranking out GnRH again, which in turn would get the LH and T machinery chugging out production again. It may be worth a try.

Jabs... my doc (gp) wants to start me on cypionate. So yeah, that would mean free, legit juice. However I have tons of gear lying around so I don't really need it... besides I think it's premature for someone of my age to be on exogenous test supplementation... unless of course I was to do an actual 'cycle' for other reasons.

Huck, I have been thinking the same thing... I remember a post where someone did something like arimidex 3mg/day for 5 weeks and then 1-2mg/day for another 5 weeks and corrected their hypogonadal state. This individual had also never juiced before and I think was around the same age. I've done extensive searches trying to find that particular thread so I could e-mail the guy but I haven't been successful. I'm almost certain you (Huck) took part in that thread as well (I think caiza and some other arimidex fans as well). Any idea of the thread I'm referring to?... and yes I know you can't possibly remember them all :)

growin',

I should probably get the prolactin checked out as well... though hyperprolactinemia tends to be quite rare. So, for that reason I'm gonna try to rule out other factors first. I noticed with my test results that my DHEA was also low. In addition, my LH was at the bottom of the normal reference range indicating a potential feedback-loop problem or possibly a pituitary problem.

Yes,that does sound vaguely familiar, but I can't remember who the individual was.Anastrozole is well known to boost T levels on it's own though, there's lots of research to back that up.

Huck, I am well aware of anastrozole's testosterone boosting ability... the only reason I haven't used anything on my own yet is I don't want to skew my lab results thereby masking the actual problem somehow. If all else fails, I've got tons arimidex, clomid, HCG, etc. lying around my room... with which I'll have to (very carefully and scientifically) take matters into my own hands :)

Of course, I'm willing to give a good endocrinologist or urologist a chance first.
