Quick ? - You are coming off a massive cut...........down to the % you want, etc., and either natty or not. Now if you werent natty, you taken the time on = time off and it's time to bulk up again. You've been training pretty intensely for the last year or so, what do you do? Do you start your next cycle and go headstrong into your bulk? Or do you take some time off from the gym and recover..........time on = time off was just pertaining to the gear, but you kept training.........

imo time off is good. however, time off of as is a catch 22. your body heals, recovers, and your muscle tissue experiences atrophy. look at flex wheeler or tom prince lately? brief time off--flush the body--get out of the gym for a couple of weeks--and hit it again! good luck bro...keep the receptors bangin

Go into a bulk if you've been off long enough. When you are very lean your body will store more cals as muscle than fat. You're in a perfect environment to blow up.

i think that depends on your bf%

if your down around a TRUE 4-6% you need to up your cals VERY slowly because at that point your body wants FAT not more muscle so if you increase your cals to a bulk level your gonna gain a lot of fat

if you cut on an internet 10-12% then just make sure you feel "fresh" and hit the gym and start bbq'ing and eating face :)

Just my 2cc's

Do whatever works for you. I dont train year round. I havent stepped in a gym since Dec... I've lost 5lbs or so, but I'll get that back in no time. I feel taking breaks helps me, but it may do the opposite for you.

You cant relate what happened with Flex Wheeler and Tom Prince to a stoppage in training. These are people that had serious medical problems. Flex was on dialysis if I'm correct, and I can only imagine what that can do to a persons mass.

PS: last pic I saw of Tom Prince he was pretty big.

I always see Tom at Gold's Venice. And yes, he's still big. Very intelligent also. He's one of the few guys I'd listen to for show prep.
