im doing a 5 day 5x5 routine right now, but im gonna bring it to a halt and change stuff up starting in May, most likely to a 4 day routine (summer job).
So i use squats and DLs as my main 5x5 lift, with enough intensity that i could crank off 2 more reps at the most (usually, sometimes more, sometimes less), but restrain myself to save energy for the rest of the routine.
my legs are still pretty small, my back is pretty good, but Im trying to build some width on my back, and anything i can get on my legs.
would you suggest i start doing more reps and lighter weight with the both of them?
any suggestions welcome
