regrets with first cycle

the only thing i can't stand about my current cycle is it's effects on my cardio. i can't stand not being able to run. i'm used to running about 35-40 miles per week. now i can bearly do 5 per week. i keep getting shin splints and my lower legs tighten up and get really sore.
this really sucks because i'm starting to get fuckin fat.

any suggestions on how to relieve the tightning and soreness in lower legs.

oh yeah, currently taking sust, dbol, eq

Nandrolone is known for easing joint pain in athletes/weightlifters. Try adding some if you're not already too far into your cycle.
 
Happened to me too on russian dbol. Not that the russians were bad, just that the pumps from dbol are insane. I would get out of my car, walk to class (which was like 200 yards), and my calfs and shins felt like they were gonna explode.
 
Try jumping rope. If that's too hard on your legs then swim some laps in the pool. That'll give you a good cardio workout and work your whole body. I did quite a few laps just yesterday and was sore in places I hadn't felt in months.
 
is it fat or water weight? and if it's water weight, wouldn't be more advisable to take something for that instead of trying to run it off.

and, isn't the cycle you're on to gain mass, if so then why are you running? won't it eat into your gains?

why not worry about fat later, while doing a cutting cycle?

well, i think it's fat, because it's all in my gut. as for the why i'm doing cardio, first is because i love to run. second is because of all the harmful side effects of AS. i've heard cardio can help cholesterol levels as well as blood pressure etc.

also, if i don't do cardio for six to twelve weeks, i'll have a hell of a time getting used to running again when it comes to cutting.

Look into biking, stepmaster or fast walking (use a treadmill on a steep incline). As a former track guy I can tell you that even a 5-10lb weight gain can really throw off you mechanics.

BTW if you are very concerned about gaining fat on a bulking cycle throw in 12.5-25 mcg t-3. This allows you to keep the calorie intake very high without piling on alot of fat. The catch with t-3 is you have to be fastidious about eating frequently and taking in alot of protein... if you do not do so you will end up losing muscle.
 
It's a combination of H20 retention and added mass that's causing you to have difficulties doing cardio. You should consider using a aromatase inhibitor like proviron or arimidex and maybe occassional use of a mild diuretic, & watch your salt intake. Personally, when on a mass cycle I give up on the idea of doing cardio (other than warm-ups and evening walks).
 
i had to run 5 miles every M,W,and F while with the grunts. i did close to the same AS as you're doing now, and i fully believe that the running killed a good portion of my gains.

i understand your love for running. but you should also understand that any energy you exert while running could've been used to build muscle. that same muscle that you could have built, would surely hamper your running abilility. but it would also allow you to do much less cardio, and burn the same amount of calories as if you didn't have it.

here's what i think will happen if you continue to run and worry about fat on this cycle:

1. your running will be hindered - due to water weight, but you'll still be able to run 5 miles w/o breathing heavy instead of only running 1 (if you stopped running now)
2. you will not be in the same state of anabolism as if you had stopped running, and your body won't have the amount of calories available to maximize muscle growth, and you will come off your cycle having only gained 8-12 lbs instead of 18-22
3. after your cycle you will have to run much more than you would have if you had gained 18-24 lbs in order to burn the same amount of calories
4. you will have minimal residual gains as opposed to the 10-12 lbs if youy hadn't kept running, and 3 months later you will look exactly the same as you did beforeb you started this wasted cycle
 
yea bro, on my second week on winny cycle, my fucking calves and ankles were on fire...i guess best suggestion do cardio on the bike or swim...fuck running...or try intercourse at 100mph for 30 minutes;)
