I've never understood what the fuck is wrong with Jeff George.
Everywhere he's been he has lost the confidence of his coach
and more importantly his teammates pretty damn quickly. He
still throws one of the prettiest spirals in the NFL and he's got
some weapons around him (Davis, Westbrook, etc.)... He just
doesn't have the intangibles (desire, charisma, intensity) to
get people to believe in him enough to win.
I mean, you look at Favre, Fiedler, and McNabb and what have
you got? Guys willing to bust balls to get "W's" and everyone
of their teammates would take a bullet for them. That's what
winning is all about-- That's what Jeff George will never learn.

George doesn't have the will to stay in the pocket until the last moment and release the ball right before getting hit. Favre, Elway, etc., would stay in the pocket as long as it took.
Besides now George is now throwing a side arm pass, he has now gone to shit.
I don't know the man personally but it seems like he's not well liked. The O line blocked a lot better for Brad Johnson last season then it did for George. Another season down the toilet.

DIE HARD SKINS FAN
i refuse to NOT pull for the skins just because they sukk. i love them. i live in texas and all i hear about over here is the fukkin cowboys, even when they sukk. they're everywhere. so i wll not relent in my support of MY skins.
however, i still can't figure out if there was a shortage of good college QBs in the middle rounds of the draft or if free agency was scarce, but what the fukk possessed marty shotenhiemer to think that george could lead this team. if brad johnson couldn't do it, this fukkin joker sure as shit can't do it.
but alas my fellow redskin fans, there may be a glimmer of hope yet. jeff george was released by the redskins today. banks is gonna start against the chiefs and he sukks too. but kent grahm was signed a little after george got the boot. not great, but a hell of a lot better than george.
still not in a good position, but i think that the skins should start to function a little closer to normalcy than they have been. who knows, a season is pretty long all in all. so being the DIE HARD REDSKINS FAN that i am, i'll remain hopeful for a potential playoff berth.
