Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

More compliments...NICE! :qt:

What's up with the stomach issues? Did your fiber intake increase recently?

Do you think you'd ever approach gym hottie?

How is your mom? You haven't mentioned much about her lately.

WOW...I am nosey, aren't I? ;) I hope you're having a good day so far!

Nope diet is listed below... I just think with the reduction in food my body is using it up as soon as I eat it.

Eh... I'll probably never approach the gym hottie. I figure he's nice to look at but do I really want to know his issue? Or what if he's not all that hot after I meet him? It's kinda nice looking at him.... I mean not a whole lot of eye candy in the gym and I figure if he's all that interested he'll approach me. After all I work there and it makes it so much easier for him to talk to me.

Mom had to go back to the emergency room 2 days ago... They haven't figured out what else is going on. I talked with my sister-n-law's over the weekend and we think something has changed. She just doesn't seem like her. Like something mentally is not right. She is grouchy, ornery, and I guess I can see some of that but she says stuff like,"I wish I was like Amanda's mom (the one who died two weeks ago) in a box in the ground." I mean here one minute she is fighting to be alive and now she wishes she were dead??? Partly I think it is because she doesn't want to have to get her act together and take care of herself. She would rather starve herself to lose weight then exercise.... That is totally not going to help strengthen her heart. She has been having issues with breathing. That's why she had to go back. She couldn't breathe....
They also found out she was born with 2 extra arteries on her heart (both were blocked). Just wierd....
So it's still a mess
Thanks for asking though!!!!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Nothing wrong with a little eye candy! ;)

Mom is DEFINITELY in my prayers. So are you and the rest of your fam. :bigkiss:

Yeah you are right! The gym is foremost my means for stress relief and getting to my goals.. not so much a place to find my dream man... But if it happens there then it happens there :)

Thanks about my mom and for the song advice  ... I had that one song on there... I switched the music out over the weekend. I didn't know what to pick so I just took all the top hits from the yahoo music for both rock and some R&B and most suck!!! I tried downloading some Tool but for some reason the search only resulted in porno

Sorry to hear about your mom, Treil! Hopefully she'll change her attitude and start working on her strength.

Good idea with the hawt guy. Just keep looking at him! :lmao:

Well I have approached most guys and started talking with them in my past... I just don't have any desire to be one of those at the gym... Not only that I work there so that is not the best place to be using my job as a means to pick up men either. It's just a professional boundary I created.

How is your gym escapades going???

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

All this Im hearing about your mom is bringing me to tears. I feel for you. I just want to say that you should *Cherish* every minute you have with her. No matter how grumpy or mean or stubborn she might be or get. Both of my grandparents are on their death bed and I would give ANYTHING To be with them or see them one more time. They are 13,000 miles across the ocean away from me. My family doesnt have $$ to send me and my sisters to see them before its too late.

I hope your mom gets well soon!!!!She will be in my prairs!

 hang in there...there are reasons for everything in this life; no matter how unfair or horrible they might be or get!

Haven't had time for the gym since last week. Going back tonight - we'll see. Probably no different than it was - not worried about it ;)

Weight 142.2 (bloated cow feeling)
I'm not sure what it was but yesterday I had extremely bad stomach cramps on my way to the gym, and started getting a migraine. The only additions to the food were: 1 cup lettuce (highly doubtful), These salty dill pickles (possible), Pink lemondae Crystal light (not thinking so), and a diet Vault (Really possible). Totally felt like that time of the month.
It took me an hour to get my egg whites down last night..... I swear to God after I was done it felt like I was pregnant!!! My stomach was on the verge of exploding!
I was even watching an Applebee's commercial and I was thinking even if those cheesesticks, BBQ ribs, and chocolate cake were sitting in front of me I could not even handle one bite... That's how full I was.
So this morning I did my 60 minutes a.m. cardio
Weights= chest and arms (favorite day)
P.m. 30 minute cardio
Posing (really need to focus on this more)
2 clients
Feeling better now then I was yesterday evening.

Note:
Did not go to the bathroom once yesterday.... Well besides water release

Yeah I know right... I'm just not craving anything because my diet pretty much keeps me full... The only reason I want to eat more food (and I don't care if it's more chicken) but prefer oatmeal.... is for energy purposes. I'm happy about the no food craving issues. I think it's just because my mind is set... I've been also thinking long-term about after the competition. My trainer is going to help ween me back to reality... but I want to keep the diet kinda like it is... obviously different macro's but I have learned that this is definitely the optimal eating life-style for me. I feel a lot better, I get more food into my system (the right types of food) and it's easy once you have it organized to follow.
Something was definitely off yesterday but I'm better today... a bit sleepy... but I'm learning to live off of 6.5 hours of sleep, during the week.
:)

Eh the only thing I have slightly stressing me is no time to get my posing in, I take my PT cert on the 17th of this month and haven't cracked the book, My mom, some errands I need to get done (but the list is diminishing), and that's about it. I think I have the other aspects in my life under some sort of relative calmness and organization.
I was way more stressed with life last year.

Thank you girl... I saw mom on sunday and she said,"I don't think I'll be able to make your competition!" I said,"That's fine I didn't expect you too." She said,"Yeah but I really wanted to go!." I said,"I'm almost positive there will be more for you to go too!" She said,"O.k..."

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

June 02 2006
Weight 142.2 (Definitely see some water on me)
I was talked into going out last night for this guy at work's 21st birthday. My trainer went, the other figure competitor, and obviously pretty much everyone else at the gym. So I was doing just fine and then I got hungry and crabby. All I wanted was my bed even over eating any type of food. So I didn't get home until 3 this morning and was up at 5:30.
a.m. cardio = 1 hour Dug down deep and actually it was better then yesterday's ?!?
p.m. weights = quads and calves... This could be tough
p.m. cardio 30 minutes
Stopped by the store picked up a diet pop and a sugar free, calorie free, etc... energy drink and plan on popping a few extra cardio breeze to keep me awake and at 'em today. My trainer spilled a beer on me last night and I said,"Oh I can wear it, smell like it, but can't drink it?!" He was just laughing. I really didn't want any drink I just wanted my bed.
Yesterday's posing went well. I will be practicing more this weekend. Getting my body fat done tonight... Not sure what the water weight will due to the number, but oh well... I actually was looking back over my sheet where I have been tabulating my weight and my fake body fat % off of my scale. My fake body fat% is at it's lowest today then it has ever been. Also, I see a pattern as far as how my body reacted and this was about the same time last time around I was feeling bloated. 2 weeks prior to my period my weight went up 2.4 pounds beginning of May. So maybe this has something to do with the cycle...
O.k. WAKE UP ME
HAPPY F-Day everyone :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

I Totally forgot....
HAWT guy update:
So I finally got him to smile and say hi to me! I was sitting on the curb with a mouth full of chicken and he walks by me and says,"Hey" Here I am chicken all in the mouth trying not to show teeth because Mrs. Dash and pepper are all over the stuff, and I smile and say,"Hi" back. So later I run over to the gas station to snag a drink and as I'm walking in the door his two friend's were there. The one noticed first, and the other guy kind of turned like are you coming. Then he saw me and they both smiled and stood back with the door open for me to walk through. The one said "Hi", the other I saw look down at my name tag. Then I go in and I'm working out with a client and I'm doing some major motivating and helping her do these 20 pound and 25 pound walking DB lunges. Well He walked by and said,"Excuse me and smiled." (we were in the walkway)
Then we come back around and his friend and him were standing there. It looked like it was some kind of support network thing.... well I just kept focused on my client and we lunged by him and they just watched. So then we had to walk back by to get to our next machine and they were acting like they were looking at the cardio area for the other guy and then he looked at me and smiled. They left, but the third guy remained. Well I was sitting on the massage table and he like paused at the door next to me and I was talking to one of the other trainer's and the third guy (friend) waited for a few seconds and then must have decided to go.
Still I think his buds are trying to help him work up the courage to talk to me.... I'll just keep smiling and being polite :qt: I think monday's booty shorts got him frazzled... ha ha

On another note I got my two pairs of competition shoes in. I love them both, but need to practice walking in them. I used to teach and do runway modeling so it shouldn't be to difficult :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Oh I have something else to add to my observation list:
Men at the gym find athletic women sexy
Most men at the bar find skinny fat girls with big breasts sexy
Most men at the bar stay away from athletic looking girl's for fear of getting beat up
(I think) Or maybe is it because we are less approcahable?!?
I'm going to do a comparison study here.....
If I wear my gym clothes into the grocery store, or the mall I get like 1,000 stares up and down.
If I wear a tank top and jeans or a t-shirt and jeans, or skirt and tank top I get less stares.
Sober people acknowledge athletic people more, drunk people acknowledge the easy lay and slutty girl/guy.
Next time I go to the bar I am going to wear my gym clothes (racer back tank top and black chinos or shorts) and just see what type of attention I receive vs. me in my jean skirt and tank top and sandals which I wore last night.
I will be sober the next time around also.
I will act the same way, I will carry the same type of drink (diet coke or water).
Not sure when the next outing will be... but stay tuned :)

Yeah I'm not going for the drinks I'm DD... I still got pulled over by the Police last night (Well I was already stopped) because some uhmmm black guy would not leave me alone and was all up on my window and stuff. He didn't realize how close he was to getting punched but then I heard the siren. Cops are dicXs!

Do you find the same thing Bunny? I mean you stand out either way so Im sure it doesn't matter... Just wonder if I'm the only one that sees this?

I noticed this too the other nite at the bar!! (yes, I had water!)

Most of these girls were about 10 years younger than me & skinny-fat - well most of them looked pregnant in too-tight clothes, which doesn't look good on anyone....It's weird!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Well I am 99% sure that it will be some sort of surgical subspecialty. My personality and love of all things athletic is pushing me towards ortho but I am keeping an open mind. I have a nice NIH grant to do surgical research this summer with one of the big dog reconstructive breast surgeons at the Univerity this summer. Who knows, maybe I'll really like giving women who lost their breasts or breast to cancer new ones.

Great to hear about the DD :)

Good thing no punches were thrown, you'd a hurt your pretty little hand :)

I do not get out much but based on my recent adventures & bar experience... I'll go thru your observations & comment

Men at the gym find athletic women sexy AT one of my gyms I get ZERO attention from the guys ... as I leaned out, I have been getting plenty, prolly b/c I look more feminine in their eyes & can't believe the daily changes ... I was not one of the females they were 'checking out' that's for sure ...
Most men at the bar find skinny fat girls with big breasts sexy I'll have to say I do see these types get ogled more ...
Most men at the bar stay away from athletic looking girl's for fear of getting beat up
(I think) Or maybe is it because we are less approcahable?!? Probably :FRlol: I had a guy ask if i was a swimmer lol ... Lats :)
I'm going to do a comparison study here.....
If I wear my gym clothes into the grocery store, or the mall I get like 1,000 stares up and down. Grocery store - yes I can relate to this
If I wear a tank top and jeans or a t-shirt and jeans, or skirt and tank top I get less stares. I cannot relate to this as I don't wear skirts ... but if I have a tank on I will get some type of reference to my physique, even a fitted T ...
Sober people acknowledge athletic people more, drunk people acknowledge the easy lay and slutty girl/guy. LOL actually I find drunk people more open to come grab at my muscles, touch them, and want specifics as to my diet & training, and want me to train them ... as if they'd rememeber the convo the next morning :D I can see what you're saying though and have experienced both sides :)

Lats :)

Treil is hawt, I cannot believe the guys aren't falling at her feet no matter where she goes, unless the are the stubling drunks she can just kick aside :)

The fact she is extremely bright & beautiful both inside & out ... she's a catch. Just goes to show these guys aren't worthy of her ... :rose: She will find one that is when she leasts expects it ...

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

That skinny fat look is grotesque I think. I'll NEVER know why that gets so much attention at bars. I think more people involved in fitness respect someone that takes care of their body and understands the hard work and effort it takes to get that kind of look. The average shmuck at a club or a Moes Tavern on Friday night might be too intimidated to ask a fitness type out. Most likely because of some insecurities within himself.

But yes I was the 16 year old with a Sharon Bruneau poster hanging on my wall. :)

Once you are good and perfect it you can give me some ;)

Yeah I see your side here.... I do get some people pinching my arms and asking me to flex.... but as I was told last night AGAIN I am a very direct person and a lot of people don't know how to relate to me in person. I always ask the other person what are they scared of? That the truth may hurt? The guy said no that he is more like a friendly type and thinks I am a very business type.... O.K. I guess that's why my major was in business.... Though I'm no sales pusher. So numerous times in the past few months "MEN" have told me they don't know how to take me because I am so direct... What do they want Mrs. Cleaver?

I think it is good when a girl is direct because I can leave my decoder ring at home. It makes you seem so much more real. Don't worry about it at all.

I noticed this too the other nite at the bar!! (yes, I had water!)

Most of these girls were about 10 years younger than me & skinny-fat - well most of them looked pregnant in too-tight clothes, which doesn't look good on anyone....It's weird!
YES I have no idea... I guess now that I know how to look at someone and decode fat and muscle and body postural distortions it kinda takes away some of the appeal that maybe men are blind too, and even women...

Well I think the guys/girls are looking for the easy lay... Obviously the best place to find an athletic person is not at the bar... Maybe that is the biggest strike against this whole thing. Not that I was there to pick anyone up or get hit on. I think girls' are just as bad. I saw this beautiful girl last night sucking face with this really tiny dude that looked like he could work with me (computer geek) TOTALLY did not match, and my friend in tow mentioned it to me after I saw it.... I think it's a great place for people's insecurities to be set aside and for them to feel wanted.... Maybe :whatever:

I am an adaptable person but refuse to lose myself.

God tell me about it. If it's not the computer geeks it's the really fat guido types who never work out but have the ultimate gift of gab to just talk their way home with some very attractive women. You know the words are usually insincere too. But I guess if the person is vulnerable enough it must really hit home.

Hey I with you! If people are intimidated, they will say that you are unapproachable. Think about it. Why wouldn't a guy be intimindated by you. Smart, pretty and in tip top shape. How do you keep up with that? That is why you are labelled upapproachable. Let's just translate that word into "that girl is way out of my league and I am not confident enough to try and talk to her so let's make it her fault and call her unapproachable."

See, I catch alotta crap for this but maybe she liked more than what you & your friends see on the outside? Maybe there was more to be attracted to then the physical ... unless she was drunk & lookin' for some @$$ ...

my .02 cents on the topic that the thread has gone to:

I believe the best things in life not only happen when you least expect them to, but when you are being yourself... raw and untainted.

I see the two sides of this. I have a very attractive male friend who will sleep with any girl. He knows how to sweet talk them to get laid... I just don't understand it?!?

Well I would rather it be that... but honestly I think yes I have high goals in life, high self-esteem, but believe me there are some way prettier girls' around me and the guys go up to them. My dad has told me since I was 15 (I have had this problem since then) that I am very intimidating and that he would of thought I was beautiful and would never of had the guts to ask me out let alone talk to me. Which is why 95% of the guys' I ever dated I asked out.

Nope I totally know what you are talking about. I see nothing wrong with that... but the guy kissed her like it was the first time he ever kissed a girl. It looked like a high school prom kiss.... Maybe not even that. I think she wanted to take his virginity.
I dated a guy once based solely off of personality.... doesn't work out. Dated a guy based solely off of looks.... doesn't work out. For me personally it need's to be a mix of both.

Hey girlie :wavey: Hope you are having a GREAT weekend!!! How;s mom doing??? :rose:
So far she is doing good. The weekend has been great!!! I basically told everyone I was hibernating. I just had so much to do, and sleep to catch up on!!! I got my house cleaned, I layed some stone edging and played in my flower beds today, I think every neighbor came over to chit chat and to tell me how they love my grass, or house, flowers, porch.. etc.. It was good to hear and some new people that I met. Also, got a new massage client out of the day. While I did the work I listened to my personal training materials on cd.. so I got my studying in also.
Went to a few stores today and now I realize ho much I hang out at the gym. Every store I went in the past two days I ran into someone who either knew my name or told me I have a very familiar 'face', and then it comes out that they know me from the gym. I have lived in this city 2 years and have ran into someone I know maybe once or twice. I need to practice posing here in a few, but first I have to figure out this IPOD I just bought.
Hope you are having/and had a spectacular weekend!!!

HA ha yeah well I think the guy at Best Buy was like this chick is an idiot! I went to just look at t.v.'s and I know they have some new gadgets on them since the last time I bought them... something about them not working right or make sure they have "X" and what is the difference between tube and flat?! Yeah I told the guy I hate shopping for that stuff. I ended up just going and getting the IPOD and skipping the t.v. I haven't had a t.v. larger then about 12 inches in about 2 years because I hate shopping for them THAT much!!
