Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

:lmao: Not a big T.V. fan myself. As long I can see what I'm watching. My friend was bragging about his new flat screen T.V. and I could care less. He's like "Hey check this out. Look at how clear it is. It's almost like you're right there." Well you're not!!! Should've told him "Hey your new 42 inch T.V. matches your 42 inch waist. What a surprise!" :)

How was your weekend?

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Weekend was all rained out over here. Downpour the second I'm getting out of my car and it completely stops the minute I get inside a building. :whatever: Sleep, rest, the gym and one trip to the mall. Oh and grocery shopping. I swear someone could start a thread on Morons at the Supermarket. The next 2 people that decide to have a conversation in the middle of the isles is getting their cart personally taken from me. :)

HA HA haha... Yeah you should start a thread about that!!! I love it when they have the kids on the end of the cart and they just plow around a corner and their kid gets smashed by abnother cart... I think it's a sue tactic by the parent. I don't know if you want to take their cart... probably full of junk anyway.
It was sunny here :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

I heard mixed reviews about the new "Tool". Might have to pick it up. Rob Zombie's new one I haven't heard either. Still waiting for the new Guns'N'Roses. There's some songs off the new album I put on the music forum. Old school but I still like them. :)

Why do all those classes peak my interest?! I have been told I should have become a doctor... I just can't deal with blood. I have a few books I just received on neuro-science that I will read for fun... That's the type of stuff I 'enjoy' reading. And obviously clinical nutrition. What do you think about the LCD diets that doctors can prescribe and their sides to the patient?

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

With the nutrition I can tell you more about refeeding a patient with marasmus or something of that sort. I was excited about that class but it turned out to be a dud so I didn't go.

Neuroscience was cool though!

Yeah my sister-n-laws mom was a RN dealing with neuro trauma. I have a lot of her books now.
Some nutrition classes I have taken are rather boring and basic.

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Have a great Monday, Tre!! I'm very excited about seeing you in full performance form in just 6 weeks....WOOT!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Thanks everyone... I'm going through recertifications and I forgot how retarded it is.

Ice = I'm really getting excited and can't WAIT to meet everyone!!!

So I thought I would update on some new food preps I have been performing to help get me through eating so much chicken and turkey...

I bought this Chinese 5 spices (No salt), and this really hot pepper Chinese stuff (anyone interested I'll have to put it in here later it's at home). I LOVE hot stuff and I can only take 1tsp of that! So I boil up my whole wheat pasta, cook my chicken in a convection oven for 50 minutes covered in Mrs. Dash spice. For my meal where I can have olive oil = I heat the oil up, add some garlic, I place the chicken and spaghetti whole wheat pasta in, I add 1tsp of the Chinese 5 spices, some 1 tsp of the low sodium soy sauce (8 or 9 calories), crushed black pepper, and 1tsp of that Hot pepper stuff (0 cals). I cook it all up where the noodles are kinda crisp. Then I put it on one of my Chinese plates and I take some chinease hot mustard (0 cals) and use it for dipping if I want a zip added to all of that. For a drink I have been brewing up caffeine free green tea. I then let it cool, put that in my blender add splenda, some vanilla sugar free coffee syrup, stir that together. Then I throw in a bunch of ice and make it a green tea slushy. Great Chinese meal with only 8 or 9 extra calories. I'm sure you could minus the soy sauce if you want but I like the extra moisture in the dish. I'm sure you could even get that bibb lettuce and wrap that up and dip it in the mustard also.
For drinks I have been into this diet Faygo (Michigan product) in Chocolate Cream pie. I also have been making crystal light slushies, crystal light frozen pops, and plain water.
I also have been chewing on sugar free gum, and those sugar free sour ice breakers ( 2kinds have 0 calories). Both items you have to watch to not consume to many because they do after all contain sugar alcohols = calories that they don't list.
Let alone stomach cramps galore if eaten in high quanities.

Mmm. That asian style pasta sounds good. :p Ever try sambal? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sambal Asian type of hot sauce. Really brings out the taste in whatever you're eating. Almost no calorie too.

Crystal light slushies. Have my ruby red and pink lemonade water bottles in the fridge now. :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

That's really spicy stuff! I put 1 tbs on my chicken and I was sweating in 5 minutes. There's some thai flavored spices that I have to try next to "spice" up the bland foods. :)
Strawberry Orange Banana. :p The orange pinapple one stains my lips if I use too much. And of course no one will tell me until the end of the day. :)

Thai spices... That could be my next adventure :)
Yeah that stuff is really spicy!!! I normally pour hot sauce on my chicken, that stuff 1 tsp is enough!!!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Beautifully Stated

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You
will have your heart broken probably more than once and
it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll
fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for
things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing
too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much! , and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Haha. I only add the CL to my gallon of water now just in case. Kool aid is the absolute worst. I saw no calorie on the packet and all these good flavors. Watermelon, strawberrry...I used the tropical fruit punch once before a meeting and couldn't get it off my lips for hours. :)

That stuff is good too! A little sweeter I think. Tasted kinda garlicy but good. And yes HOT! I went on an Asian kick a few years ago and bought just about the whole isle of condiments. Didn't taste quite as well as I expected. (What? I'm not the Iron Chef? ) :whatever: Still have some left over hoisan sauce somewhere I think. :)

Yup, both this and Sambal have good kick! I love all my food hot and always throw on at least curry powder, hot peppers & cayenne pepper at the minimum on my stirfry dishes. My coworkers always say their sinuses are getting cleared up when I open up my grilled chicken wrap lunches around them. :D But yesterday I went a lil' overboard though and set my own stomach lining on fire. Oops! :worried:

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Yep, I like Hot N Spicy but with some flavor.....dont' want to just taste HOT.....will have to look for the Sambal since I've never seen it.....

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

JUNE 6th
Weight 138.? (I forgot the last number again)
A.m. cardio 60 minutes
P.m. weights
P.m. 35 minutes of cardio
Can I say my body is tired?!? My motivation is pushing me past my body getting tired. Body screams no, my brain screams harder.
Almost fell on the way out to my mailbox yesterday... Not good... Not that there was any sticks or stones but that my body wanted to lay down I suppose. I dragged it around about an hour more to get some stuff done. Then I put it to bed. My brain kept getting up throughout the night though. At 3:00 it was screaming get on the treadmill, my body was like are you nuts??? By the way A.m. cardio is done at 5:15 every day. I had a dream two nights ago that people were shoving food in my face and I was pushing it away and yelling no, and was crying. Last night I was dreaming my trainer was yelling at me because I wasn't posing enough and I looked horrible in my poses. Needless to say it's all dreams... Just definitely obvious the brain and body disconnect this week.
My trainer actually saw me yesterday and thought I had lost more weight. At this point... I'm dragging myself around so much that I don't even notice. I NEED to pose more... I am good with everything else.. I just have to figure out how to fit that in!! I'm really sucking at that right now.
Anyway Off to my second certification course!!!
HAve a goodone everyone and I will chit chat a bit later!
Thanks Merm on the comp!!!

Those are HOT! From the same family as cayenne peppers I think. My father used to grow some kind in the garden and my uncle dared me to take a bite when I was a kid. I couldn't breath! I had to just drink milk for the rest of the night. I touched my eyes a bunch of times after dicing some jalepenos without even thinking of it. Contacts are getting dry, maybe I'll take them out and go to bed early......Up all night with a washcloth on my face now. :)

I feel brain dead right now. I'm sick of this cert course.... I failed it by one, so I get to go take it over again. Pretty much you keep taking it till you pass... You can take it twice in one day. So hopefully I just pass and get it over with. They say it's because I know the material to well, that I need to dumb myself down and take it like someone who knows nothing.... Go figure it's a government related cert

Those recertification type classes are awful. I always end up overanalyzing the questions and end up getting the wrong answer. Best to think like a dumby when taking those thing. :) Missing by 1 sucks. For one of mine you need 90% correct and I always get 87% my first time. Somebody out there just wants to piss me off I think. :)

Yeah!!!! So what do you do dealing with the govt?
I always overanalyze these stupid things... If I just went in and just took it I would probably pass. That's what I'll do this afternoon!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Nothing with the government, just a bunch of classes for our company. Internet marketing and ad placement type things. Still not using what I got my M.A. for. (Human Resources) 4.0 GPA and there were no entry level jobs available after graduation so I took something outside of my field. Real estate continuing ed classes I had to take last week and they require an exam at the end of each course to pass. Easy but time consuming.

Why did you choose Human resources? I mean 4.0... I would assume something maybe more technical to challenge your brain cells?!? MAybe, No ?

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

That sounds awesome. I imagine you like what you do?

For me I actually got my B.A in psychology. When I went to grad school I started off in Clinical Psychology but my advisor was telling me no one nowadays wants a psychologist, just a psychiatrist who can give them prescription meds. I changed over to Industrial Organizational Psychology/HR and got my M.A. in that. 99% of the jobs wanted some previous experience and I chose to do a thesis instead of an internship. Big mistake. Thinking of going back to get another M.A. in school psychology. Just a few classes. Summers off, winter, spring break and pretty good pay. Starting the real estate thing next week. We'll see if that takes off.

Unless I can work as a personal trainer to celebs and make $1000 and hour. That would be nice. :)

You and me both about the trainer thing!!
No I don't care for my full-time job.... That's why my focus is on weight training, and massage therapy... That's what I enjoy so I look at my job as just my income and then my life outside of work is my main focal point! Anyway back to take this cert again

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Haha. I've been looking at trainer certifications for forever. I guess if you can get some good referrals from wealthy clients or train in some corporate offices it might be a good deal. Doing what you like seems to be more rewarding in the end.

Good luck with the class!!! :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Treil, I love your vivid dreams :) Best of luck with the cert, although I know you don't need it. My head is too cloudy to read through your thread, sowwy :( .. all the best honey :rose:

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

That cert training is so stupid... The second test has half of the same questions as the first test. They give you the answers to the questions you got wrong first time around... so the second time you only really have to answer half of the amount of question's if you remembered the answers to the other ones.... SILLY
Anyway I passed... I am done with my certs for now.
Thanks Buns... I know your head's floating... I know the feeling probably not like you though :rose:

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Congrats!!! :) Done and over with now. Those repeated questions are a pain. Or they'll ask the same question but change it around by one word. ".....is acceptable." "....is not acceptable."

I should talk. I failed my drivers license test when I was 16. I tried to be a wise ass and pass out an old couple driving 25 mph. "O.K. thank you. Please turn around." :)

You kill me.... See I'm a smart aleck about a lot of things but when it comes to getting a test over and done with I just do it.... I can't stand being held up... I did enough hurry up and wait when I was in the military.. Well I'm getting ready to head out to the gym... Boy I need my body to give me something.... I'm going to take 2 CB right now!!! so I can go and kill this shiznit! ;)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Treil, I gotta' say from the last set of pics to this one, I REALLY see a significant difference. For one, those guns are poppin'!!! The abs are coming out VERY nicely! You look WONDERFUL!!!!

Great job, Treil!

Thanks girl! I really needed to hear that right now. Man I really forced myself through my back work-out today... I hated every minute of it. Then I dreaded P.m. cardio but got through that... and now I'm still up. The brain won't shut off, but I'm tired.... I tried some posing for about 5 minutes and yeah... I just have no energy. Blahhhhh

The show is July 15th here in Detroit.
I haven't had a chance to check the site out... I'll probably do that tomorrow at work. I have been out of my office the past two days so I really didn't get a break to do my usual surfing....
How's teh studying going? Was today your tests?

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Hey Treil :wavey:

Guess who's still here. :)

Glad you had a good workout. Have your posing routine set out yet?

Yeah I had my behavioral science test today. It was a tough one but I did alright. I think I'll take my neuroscience test on Thursday and then I will 1/4 of the way to be being Dr. Shades!

Detroit is a little out of my travel range! Do a show in the south sometime!

Yeah o.k. just for you!!! NO the closest I would do to you would be something in Atlanta... just because my brother lives there.
It's hard enough getting ready for a show in state right now let alone thinking about out of state.
Glad to hear your tests were not bad! Good look on the other one!

 Yeah I did better on my abs... I kind of don't like working my back in general... and then he didn't realize how many set he had on my sheet and I was there like an hour and 15 and finally I went over to him and said that he needed to cut it down. So he did... but that obviously didn't help me this time around. First time I was actually hungry during my work-out!!! My stomach was actually growling. I even increased my Trex to two on my second meal today... So I dunno. I really think my stomach the past couple days is chewing on my intestines for food. Just because I've been light headed and all... Fun stuff!

Ugh. The growling stomach is no fun at all. Add some more veggies and lettuce when that happens. I've said diced eggplants and zuchini to many times now. lol My personal fav. :)
