Rear Delts...

ChinkNasty

New member
aight, what do yall do for these suckers? I've read like WB's log and he does em (as well as other people) on a rear fly machine?? I think I've seen one of these at school (isn't it like a fly machine with handles and you just sit on it backwards) but I don't have access to one here at home...any suggestions bout what to do for mah rear delts

thanks fellas,
CN

Any kind of bent over fly/lateral raise will hit them. You can do it seated and bent over, standing and bent over, and standing and bent over one arm at a time. If you want to make it more difficult, you can lie down stomach first on an angled board/seat and do the raises. This isn't the type of exercise where you can lift heavy weights, so go light.

and if you pay your dues with chins and bent over rows working them directly ain`t even necessary.........IMHO of course

Pump on .....

I think rear delts are pretty important for a good bench. I generally work them on the pec deck machine. Just sit facing the back support.

I work rear D's like wutongamo....

I use the incline bench and grab the pretty, silver 12lb'rs that the chicks use for rows.

I put my knees in the seat and my chest at the top, lower the bench to the lowest angle setting....I hold the DB's so that my thumbs are up...(kinda like the fonz on Happy Days....)....killer burn/pump....

Seated cable rows, one armed bent ovor dumbell rows, highpulls, bent lateral raises, reverse fly, all good exersises to work the rear head. but bro, carefull with the rear head, they are small muscles and can be hurt easily. alternate exersises. don't do all of them in one workout.
