This summer I plan on training hard for next hockey season. I'm not looking to be all buff for the ladies or to become a body builder, I want to be stronger for hockey, I also need to gain a bit of weight.
I'm 16 years old and I weigh 170 pounds at 6 feet tall. My goal for next season is to weigh 185-190 pounds, while still maintaining my endurance, speed and agility. I've lifted weights before but not religiously and I had no idea what I was doing. I'm not sure what to include in my weight training regime.
The first time I enter my local gym, I want to know what to do. I was wondering if you guys could give me some small tips for getting started.
