Let's ask this: You have a 2.5 year old child. Assuming you had to make the decision, would you prefer that your child be locked in a room alone for an hour with a random pitbull or a random black lab?
Asshat.
I wouldn't like my daughter in a room with any random dog.........the breed being inconsequential.......
My daughter plays with our dogs very rough.......has done so since she was born........
Neither one of our pits has a breaking point........if they in fact did....it would have been discovered long ago........they love her, obey her....and are protective of her.....but neither dog has an agressive bone in it's body.....
Pits have the highest prey drive of any dog.....this coupled with bad ownership.....poor breeding, and non-fixed animals leads to bad shit happening.
I have seen more aggression (towards people) out of poodles, and cocker spaniels than I have out of any pit.
Pitbulls can have dog agression encoded in their family lineage......
Not people aggression, that is ALL due to their upbringing.....
I am a member of the PBRC....Pitbull Rescue Central.
Please try to educate yourself on the breed a little more, before dispensing advice and or facts.
