And yes what I said is true. Here's another one being violated: It's called the 5th ammendment. Plus, a husband or wife cannot be compelled to testify against their spouse; if they do so, it's their choice. Looks like you got burned buddy.

There is no way that would remotely pass. If they do, the entire population would be in prison and noone would take out the trash or pay the taxes.

Exactly right. We as a country cannot afford to lock up that many people, it would be an idle threat. Another thing, anyone with any brains wouldnt rat on someone close to them because of legislation like this. They would know if they just keep it quiet, the law wont find out anyhow.

I just meant that you got burned because according to the law, they shouldn't of been able to force your wife to testify. The DA obviously manipulated the case in the states favor. If you would of had a good lawyer, they wouldn't of let it fly. Sucks that that happened bro; that's all I meant when I said you got burned.
