Ran into some people from HS...

So I took my kids bowling today and two lanes away is a chick and this guy that I knew from HS. She was taking her kids and he was accompanying her. It seems that they stayed in touch after all these years.

It's weird because we were in different cliques back then, but when we talked now, we see how stupid it all was.

It's also amazing how a decade or more changes a person. They look so old now. They said the same of me.

"Why do you look so tired?" I pointed at my kid throwing another gutterball. They do the same. We all laugh.

After awhile, we said our goodbyes and got back to our own lives. I figured that I'd see them again in another ten years to see what became of us.

yeah its weird seeing people you went to HS with. We all look and act much different(at least most do). I sometimes would like to see/hang out with some of my old friends from HS to catch up and remenice(SP?)

I still stay in touch with two of them. There was a third, but he decided to disappear to Rio and never come back. Whatever.

As for the rest, I could care less where they are right now. We had a saying back then that you never lose your friends. How right we were.
