Thanks My Dear! We all had a blast. About 200 people showed up.
The food was grilled on several several Charcoal grills,Burgers & Hot Dogs!
We recieved a standing ovation on our closing of a 20 Minute Freebird!
The Drummer (Whose b-day was that day) was playing golf-He recieved a call to tell him the alarm at the convention center was going off and he needed to come now to shut it off.He was totally pissed when he got there ,but didn't know it was a suprise b-day party.
(Those here who are still in the dark) It was his 50th B-day & The bands 25th anniversity.
There was a 4ft X 6ft Cake with a pic of the band taken when it first started (Bell bottom pants, Beatle hairdo, total 60's flower child stuff)
And i havn't heard this word in a longggg time today--but the music we played was "FUNK" LOL!
We had a blast.
