racoons in my chimney, advice?

I used to have a wood burning stove in my house which I took out and put a cap on the pipe which goes to the small chimney. So about 1 foot of this pipe is still inside my house. I have baby raccoons in there with their mother. They are always making thier hissing noise all day and night long. I just beat the pipe with a hammer for 10 min or so and pissed them off. I have acces to the top of the chimney from my 2nd story window. Any ideas on how to get them out without getting into a fight with the mamma? or try this


kepp a trap (cage one with thing does down movements traps them) and they alive and not harmed

1. put tuna in the trap
2. set the trap
3. catch each one by one
4. relocate things
5. buy the new NIN cd

If you start with #5 and play it to them loud they will likely bail outa there.
