relative to your legs, where do you guys put the pins when doing rack pulls? aroudn the ankles? mid shins? right below the knees?

thanks.

For some reason, I really don't like the way rack pulls feel on my back. I much prefer starting on the ground (deadlifts).

Why bother with rack pulls anyway? Is it just so you can say you lifted a higher weight?

To answer the first question, right below your weakspot on the lockout.

To your question, the answer is partly in my statement above. To help strengthen your lockout.

ok, thanks guys...I figured it'd be right around wherever my problems with lockout would be but just wanted to see where you guys were doing it...

thanks,

I pull from as low as possible. Never above 17" from the floor...most of the time either 12" or 13". Rack pulls from the knee really aren't very similar to regular deadlifts at all.
