R-ala - My first try

I got my r-ala in today. I completed all my meals today so far. My last meal consisted of 25g of protein, 13 grams of fat and some veggies. My last 3 meals have been exactly like this. My daily carbs are only 75 grams/day , not including veggies. I’m cutting obviously…

Anyway, I deicide to test the r-ala out just about 30 min ago, which is about 45 min after my last meal.

About 10 min after taking 100mg (1 cap ) I got REALLY tired sitting here. NO heart burn at ALL... even as the time went on. At this point i knew it was kicked in. So i started flexing in my chair and i had this crazy pump! So i got up and started flexing in the mirror ( heh :) ). I felt harder/tight, had a pump when i was not even lifting, AND I’m on a VERY low carb diet. my last carb was 11:00am. When i did this it was about 9:00 pm.

So this shit does work! This could all be a placebo effect I’m having because of my expectations, but i doubt it. I did not get like this with my normal ALA from kilosports. Hell, when I was bulking I use to take 10 caps ( 1 friggin gram ) of the kilosport ALA before a big meal, and did not even feel anything. I would get heart burn from it when i take it with no food though. Maybe it was doing something but I could not tell. I can actually FEEL the r-ala, and i got no heart burn taken with no meal. Only 100mg though.

I can't wait to take this with my pre workout shake tomorrow which is the time I have my carbs, so the pump should be INSANE in the gym. I’m also going to try this with every meal tomorrow taking 1 cap 10 min before, I will have a total of 700 mg tomorrow ( 7 meals ).

Will post again if I notice anything new…

Ok, I got mine today as well. I just took 3 before my meal- it included about 75 carbs and no heartburn, no tiredness. Diesel- so take them even when your not having a carb meal? But you take less than you would with a carb meal correct? How many are you going to take with that postworkout shake? I'm trying to figure out about how much I should take. I'm not on a low carb diet by the way. I eat around 200-300 carbs a day.

I'm only going to start 100mg with my post workout just incase.

i'll take it with my carb-less meals too, not sure about more or less. Im just going to try 100mg and see how i feel.
 
Diesel, I just took another 300mg with a carbless meal- still no heartburn, feeling a little warm about 15min after eating- feeling a little tired. I'm going to bump it up next meal to 400mg.
 
yeah at 300mg r-, i def felt more tired than when i take 900mg nutriteam ala. it does seem to be doing what they claimed. i havent been in ketosis for about a wk, ive been eating lots of carbs. im gonna bring them back down to 200carbs day, thats where 3g reg ala kept me in trace ketosis.

however, nutriteam has been the only ala ive tried so far, and ulter said he tested it and it wasnt anywhere near a 50/50 mix, it was mostly s-. so im not sure if it will be worth the extra $$$$$ over a good 50/50 mix.

but yes no heartburn!

As long as you eat after taking ALA heartburn becomes a non-issue

This was what happened to me as well. I used 300mg and got weak and tired with hunger and I also got the pumps from it just sitting there.
Then the 2nd time I went over and looked in the mirror and I thought WOW I got bigger. I must have added 10 pounds of lean body mass in 3 hours. No more AS for me. :)

Seriously, it does fill your muscles with glycogen and fill you out very nicely.
