Quick question on Lipid panel

Just got my bloodwork abck from the doctor, and everything seemed pretty much fine. Blood pressure, sugar etc etc etc all within normal range

But for the first time my cholesterol did come back somewhat high at 225, although my good cholesterol is fine

I understand that this is not uncommon following a cycle. Anyone know what the time frame is before this corrects itself. Or is there anyhting esle I should be doing?

That's pretty dam high, bor :(
Roids normally put the HDL outa wack.

I don't believe there is a set time frame.

Without the TC:HDL ratio, its really not meaningful. I'd worry more about liver values and triglycerides.

in all seriousness......I think the gove need to revamp its cholesterol numbers...as long as the HDL is high...then you should be "allowed" one point per pound

Lipid values get alot of press here on EF while homocysteine is a forgetten value....
1. high fiber diet
2. 60mg Policosanol/day per Ulter
3. increased monounsaturated fats ie peanuts

very good post on homocysteine.. very ''forgotten'' probably thanks to Dietetics books calling it a ''controversial'' marker for health status..

You are wrong again. There are new studies coming out that are suggesting that the total cholesterol # plays a much more important role in terms of cardiovascular health than previously thought.

Why even post on this thread if you have nothing worthwhile to contribute???? By the way, you have got to be the most annoying member on this board. I can feel my blood pressure rising everytime I read one of your posts. In my opinion, you are a risk factor for cardiovascular disease!

and i care .. it's an inside joke. . don't read what i type if u don't want your blood pressure to rise.. It's common sense..If my posts annoy you.. don't read them..

And you say other ppl take this board too seriously :worried:
