Quick 5x5 Question...2.5Lb plates...

Madcow, or anyone else in general, I am starting the intermediate 5x5 and I have a question about the weights.

If the weight given on the spreadsheet per Madcow's site lists say 137 or 138 as an example. What would be the best route to go about this?

Would it be to round down and do 135 (might help from plateau) or round up to 140?

Or, the main question, is what about putting on one 2.5 Lb plate on one side? So technically I would have 137.5.

I wouldn't think this would screw up balance since its just one side of 2.5 pounds heavier. Maybe even rotate the side after every set.

I hope this makes sense. Stupid question I know, but I want to do this program as correct as possible.
 
I tried doing a small increase by adding a 2.5kg (5.5lb) plate to one side of my deadlift once, because it was the smallest plate the gym had at the time. I never did it again!

DO NOT load 1 side heavier than the other. The problem with rounding is that it eventually reverses on you and leaves you with either a tiny increment or a big one in a progression. I don't have my spreadsheets round because people should know what they are supposed to be working with and see the even progression. How you accomodate and deal with the target is up to you but those chains are fairly cheap and 6 of them give you a nice range to have.

The bar felt glued to the floor on one end, far more than I expected, and I ended up pulling it all twisted. It's just not worth the risk of injury.
