Question on cardio from everyone here

I really need to add cardio to my routine, when the Sun is out longer in the late afternoon I can take my doggies to the dog park and I run with them there for like a 1/2hour of instance walking, and running/jogging, I would go like 3-4 times a week.. But for Winter I only go like once or maybe twice a week, and I feel not getting enough cardio.

Since I don't belong to a gym, just have a nice new Home Gym setup, just curious what does everyone here do for their cardio, and for how long ??

also on the CHEST + BACK days Omega you say "do a quick 10-15 minutes of cardio after" does it have to be A.S.A.P. right after lifting or can it be later on that same day ??

skip rope

its a humbling experience

personally, i have been using the "stair climber" which i feel burns the most cals for me in the shortest time period

I've been hitting the treadmill at a speed walk, hmmmm maybe ill try the stair climber.

By design in our routines the quick 10-15 minutes that we do RIGHT after is akin to 20-25 minutes of a normal session of cardio

thus it is most efficient.
Your CNS is so active by then from the workouts that it is the most opportune time to do it

if you do a full cardio session try to do it on your OFF days maybe in the AM or later

25 minutes is enough

wow good point again Omega, I see the idea behind the 10-15minutes only of cardio, because right after lifting weights I already have my heart rate going so I don't need to go balls out running for 30 minutes.

What about jump rope, is that enough to get the calories off my stomach ??

jump rope is perhaps more difficult

:)

I will buy a jump rope this weekend, and add to my CHEST and BACK days at the end.

But right after the weight lifting I should drink my Creapure mix first, then do the jump rope for 15minutes, and then make my big Protein shake ??

~ Jump rope for 15 ( that will be a doozy lol)

~ RIGHT after Creartine with Juice

~20- 30 minutes later Shake

~2-3 hours later a meal

jump rope is freaking difficult man.. if you can jump rope for five minutes straight I'll think you're a champ. ;p

I find the best cardio you can do in 10-15 to 25 minutes.. it's HIIT.. fast.. slow.. fast.. slow.. fast.. slow.. fast.. slow.. though you sorta feel like throwing up afterwards if you really push yourself..
