question for the builders/engineers/carpenters.

i just hung up my heavy (100lb) bag underneath my loft, and i was wondering whether or not that is a good idea.

the loft is very well built and sturdy...built into the structure itself with wooden supports, bolted in to the structure, and suspended from heavy duty chains, which are bracketed and bolted into the main support beam.

there are only a few boxes on the loft, so there isnt much stress on the loft as it is. i am just worried about hanging a 100 lb bag from it, and whether or not the vibration might fuck anything up.

i really dont want the thing to come crashing down on me...

It shouldn't my man, I hung mine up the same way, and a speed bag as well...No probs yet....
