Question for anyone in their late twenties and up

When did you realize you looked older, or your age?

At 21 I looked and acted 17 or 18. At 25 I looked and acted 21. At 27 I looked and acted 23. Now at 29 I suddenly realize I no longer blend in, feel like being around or identify with the club or younger bar crowds (21-25). I suddenly look and feel 29, my facial features no longer have a sophmoric youth look to them, but are that of a maturing man. However my mentality is still trapped somewhere between still wanting to be 25 and needing to act my age, specially when it comes to responsabilities and outlook on life. Not that "maturing" is a bad thing, just a bit confusing time for me right now. Did you ever go through this?

Other than the bit of grey that seems to be growing at an exponential rate, I still look 8-10 years younger than I am, but that gap is closing rapidly

yes to expensive. to the other question, they are moving your face.

I saw a face-lift on the Discover Channell......they used a spatula-looking utensil under the skin and scraped the skin from the skull, pulled it upwards and tied it back around a small steel screw that they placed IN the cranium

pretty routine and non-invasive then?

I know we all like to think that medical procedures are precision and carefully orchestrated, but when you see how they actually do that stuff it's scary.

LMAO at this karma message I got for this post...

"I didn't want to be the one to tell him he was fat, way to step up"
-name withheld

That was cold. I was only joking Sorearms.
If it makes you feel any better I've gotten fat also
LOL, it's not like I don't know, dumbasses

I know weight adds to the looking older syndrome, but it's more than that.

I also partied a lot and abused alcohol and (some) drugs through my teens and twenties, so if I don't slow down now and start to take care of myself, I'm going to look real bad in real soon.

that's true, mijo. I'll be 23 in May and I look younger now than when I was 19 and first started reading EF. I was geeked up on drugs until I was 18.5 and in looking at old pics it appears to have taken a few years at least for my face and body to recover.

I've felt older in that I spend more money on up-keep. When I was younger, I loved the sun and now I buy sunscreen and get photofacials.

No, I do not look like I am in my thirties...but being in your thirties is not old anyway.
