Question about somewhat avoiding the so-called "Deca crash"

People always talk about getting shut down hard on Deca.
I accept the fact that it happens, and even with low doses.

Now suppose you run something like this:
Week1-10 Deca @ 300-400mg/week
Week1-14 Test Enanthate @ 500mg/week

Wouldn't you be avoiding the "Hard Deca shut down??" Of course you will still be shut down by Test, but it wouldn't be as bad as being shut down by Deca.

Thoughts and opinions are welcome.

I think cutting the deca off 2-4 weeks before the test is a good idea. Not good enough for me to use deca again, but better than running them concurrently for 14 weeks...

Good idea, with a proper post cycle regimen you should be good to go.

I never get shut down on Deca only cycles, but many do. I do think you'd be safe with the test dose in there the way you have it though.

I take 300mg deca max and I never get shut down at all.
