question about gyno

a good friend of mine is about to start his first cycle. He asked me a q that I've never been clear on, so I need help. When he was 18 he had gyno surgery, cuz he got gyno at puberty. Since he already had the surgery is he more or less likely to develop gyno from gear.
I've heard some ppl say less likely, cuz when they do the surgery they remove alot of tissue. So theres less tissue to form gyno. But ive also heard the opposite, that once you have it and have surgery on it youll get is easy from aas. does anyone know the right answer to this?

Depending on how much glandular tissue was removed, it should be less likely for it to come back for the reasons you mentioned. (less glandular tissue actually there to become developed) It is still possible if he reckless about it though because there is still *some* glandular tissue left behind.

I know when they removed my gynocomastia the removed the entire mass (gland and all) which was about the size of a quarter. there was no lypo done. to the best of my knowlage it can't return since the whole gland was removed.

bro, i would tell him that the only way to know is to see a doc. we could guess all night, but until he does a high dose of aas, he'll not know. if he's going 'on' soon, just make sure he's got the ancillaries he needs to combat it. my thinking is, if he had it before, he could get it again. i would go into it thinking it might happen, and have everything i need to stop it, and possibly reverse it. or...he could just stay natty, and not worry about it.

another thing about doctors, i don't trust em, so unless he's going to get a shit load of blood work done to monitor it while he's on, then IMO, it's a crap shoot at best. tell him just to make sure he has his bases covered before he starts. jus my 2 bro.

I try to use every thing ef has to help its members. This guy just came on the seen, lets put him to work and good use. I am sure as you is a busy doctor he will not get to it with lighting speed like I would, but his answer worth its wait in gold. As well as worth the wait. I would thing he is chilling out at this forum the most http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/plastic-surgery/ so post this over there
pm him or I could even move this over there for you.

I would recommend your friend takes anti estrogens during and after his cycle. As long as he has quality anti estrogens he will not develop gynecomastia. Another variable is the type of gear your friend is taking. I would strongly recommend he does not take any that has a profile of excessive water retention or known for the conversion of estrogen. It is important to choose the right anti estrogen at the right time of the cycle. For example nolvadex is possibly one of the best anti estrogens, it helps stop almost all estrogen production. However certain types of estrogen positively contribute to the outcome of your fitness plan. Also their are some downsides to taking other anti estrogens. Clomid has a small chance of causing blindness. No matter if your friend had the surgery before he still can suffer from gynecomastia. If he goes around taking 100mg of anadrol and 50mg of Dianabol - methandrostenolone - a day without any anti estrogens he will make Pamela Anderson look like a circus clown.
