Que's Journey begins

Well I'm off to "Senior Night" at my ex's church. That should be fun being around all his friends and his wife's friends who will probably make snide remarks all nite and/or just pretend I don't exist.

Hypocrytes go to church too and if their behavior is how a christian is supposed to act - - - I don't really want to be one.

Do you try and eat all your meals if you sleep in? I was wondering that, I am in the same boat today. Got up late, was shopping when it was time for meal #2. It is now 6pm my time and I have two meals left for the day and I feel like a stuffed pig!! :worried:

And the ex-in-laws? At least they don't talk to you. The last words my ex-mother-in-law ever said to me was (over the phone) "I'd like to scoop your heart out with a spoon".

That almost topped the other classic line when my ex told her we were moving in together (before marriage) "why buy the cow, when you're milking it?"

The thought of having children with that particular genetic connection was too much for me to handle.

If I sleep in I just try to get my cals in. Sometimes I only miss 1 meal when I sleep in so it isn't a big deal, however, I missed 3 meals today by sleeping in so instead of trying to cram 6-7 meals in I will just have slightly larger meals and hopefully hit my macros for the day. It's really what works best for you - I just concentrate on the totals and parse it out from there.

I was bad today. At the church function I had a piece of chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream & a cup of punch. Suprisingly I'm just under the max for my macros today but that tbsp of NPB will send me over! I can't let my body go without food for the next 12 hours just because I had cake & ice cream.

Well I applied for a 2nd job & ***if I get it*** - it's from 4-7pm M-F. That means I'll have to be at job 1 by 6am so that I can get off in time to go home & take Max out before I head to job 2. Everyone please cross your fingers and/or pray that I get this other job.

Here's the weight bench that I have in the basement. I don't remember how much total weight I have with all the plates but I know it's less than 200lbs. Looks like I'll be doing a reorg on my routine again.

UNCLE LEE'S - DELICIOUS PLUM SPICE TEA - naturally sweetened - very good! The local health food store was giving away free samples of this tea and I grabbed one. I am drinking it now and it tastes really good. It's almost too sweet so if I get anymore of it I'll be sure to add a little extra water.

How about adding baking chocolate and splenda to your egg whites? Not sure what your calorie restrictions are but there is not that many in it and you can get the dark kind. Orr you could try sugar free chcolate coffee syrup and add it to your eggs, or coffee....

Yeah well we all have done silly things. I ate so many of those icebreaker sours that it ate the skin off the top of my mouth... and then I went and forgot and had hot sauce all over my chicken!!!!! Ohhh yeahhh PAIN

Fill a martini glass with ice & water.....dump it out then fill it with your Raspberry Crystal Light and add a wedge of lime or a marachino cherry.....It's a "Poser-tini"!! New way to have it & it looks pretty!

How about this: Blend up some chocolate protein powder with ice, water, 1 packet Splenda, a tblsp. of FF creamer (optional) and some leftover coffee or a teaspoon of instant espresso granules.....Use enough ice & you can make it the consistency of a milkshake....Top with 1-2 tblsp. of either FF or SF Cool Whip. Shake some cinnamon or cocoa powder on top.....

Yup or even throw 2 egg whites in the kitchen aid, add splenda, and blend them up into a meringue. You can add sugar free chocolate or coffee flavoring. You could substitue that instead of whip cream.

It's not leg nite but I think I'm gonna MAKE IT leg nite and/or an hour of cardio......blow off some steam. :elephant:

I went to the gym and worked arms & abs. Then I hit the treadmill and since I was still fuming I actually RAN on the treadmill for a total of 10 minutes and walked 20 min.

Ran 5 (4.9 mph)

walked 15 (3.3 mph)

Laff all ya want because that my dears, it's a personal record 4 me. :garza:

I haven't run more than 20-30 ft in more than a few years. I definately need some decent running shoes.

Well my daughter came by, said she had a headache and took da punkin back to her dad's house with her. She told me I would have her all weekend & Monday but I think that reality might be setting in now that grad is over.

My oldest daughter took da punkin & I out to dinner after graduation. It was my late Mother's Day gift. I inhaled penne pasta w/tomato sauce, chichen, veggies & cheese. 1 piece of bread and I split an order of cheese fries with my daughter. OMG was that good but I can honestly say I'm glad I don't eat like that every day. We went to Montana Mike's.

It's after 6 here so the gym is already closed. Hmmmm what to do for the evening.

I feel like I should be moo'ing. I am still stuffed. I really am glad I don't eat like that every day.

I need to concentrate on drinking lots of water this weekend to help flush all that crap outta my body.

Grandbaby has an icky tummy - she's really cranky & wouldn't sleep so mommy called grammy to come fix it.

Grammy went over there & got the punkin to sleep (snoring) for about 1 1/2 hours on grammy's "pillows." She woke up feeling a little bit better. I think part of it is cutting teeth and the other part is a bug of some nature cause now grammy doesn't feel very well.

My goal for the rest of the weekend is to get the yard mowed........and to drink at least a gallon of water or more each day.

Well I hope grammy and baby feel better! :heart: now mow your lawn and drink that water! :) I am drinking coffee right now, so two more glasses of water for me :rolleyes:

LMAO! Thats funny...pillows. I HATE drinking that much water in a day. But it is a necessary evil. I am having coffee, I never drink coffee. Funny. Hope gradnbaby is feeling better!

Well I managed to get the yard mowed inbetween the wind sprints to the bathroom & the 2-3 naps I've taken today. I was supposed to go to a cookout this evening but that isn't a very good idea at the moment.

I was sitting on the porch feeling a little sorry for myself because of everything that's happened this year when the neighbor's ex wife stopped by. She was in town to pick up the rest of her stuff & to tell him she found out on Friday that she has MS. We chatted for a bit & I hugged her when she needed to cry. Please say a prayer for her.


.....and to think I was feeling sorry for myself. :worried:
 
Although my bathroom time for yesterday wasn't planned I figured that the bright side might be that I'd loose a pound or two. Scale says 153.5 *sigh*

Well I guess the good thing is that the junk I ate is probably gone. ;)

I am still having such a hard time drinking water. I know that it is a key component of weight loss so why can't I make myself do it?

Well I'm doing some spring cleaning today in hopes that it will help light a fire under my wide azz.

Carry a bottle on you at all times. Literally if you have to get one of those water bottle waist bands, sounds silly but I run around so much with my girls that is what I wear all day long!

Try adding crystal light, or some lemon or lime to it... I go through days where I forget sometimes.. and other days when I just don't want to drink any!

If I add Crystal lite it doesn't count as water does it?
Because I could drink Crystal Lite all day with no problem!

What's wrong with that?? Or drink 1/2 gallon water & 1/2 gallon Crystal Light, then slowly add more & more plain water.....

8 bottles a day is 1 gallon....so drink 4 plain & 4 flavored.....

Gosh I love that bike! 10.5 miles in @ 30 minutes w/very little coasting. I prefer to peddle in the hardest gear for 99% of the ride.

Oh how I've missed the song that the tires sing as they glide along the paved trail, in perpetual harmony with the wind as it glides past my ears gently reminding me that beauty is where you choose to find it. :rainbow:

Well it's the start of a new week and time to get my head outta my --- and get rid of some of this fat. I had lots of "bad" foods over the holiday weekend and I feel like a slug.

I have to drink water water water water water water

I buy bottled water, have a brita filtered pitcher & at work we have a water purifing system and I still have a hard time drinking water cuz fish f*** in it. :sick:

Why not??? If it gets water into your system??? There is no caffeine. I would start drinking that... then maybe alternate between CL and plain water...

Mommy called me at work - baby's is sick and so is she. I Took the day off to watch the sick grandbaby. Mommy's sick, papa's sick, etc. etc. so the punkin is with grammy while everyone at the sick house gets better and they can get everything disinfected.

Grandbaby's fever broke yesterday around 2pm and no turbo puking or pooping for the rest of the nite. She was very restless last night but finally fell asleep around 330am. She woke up this morning full of P & V. :heart:

Grammy's tired. I don't have any food packed for today, I was late for work & I ran out of splenda for the one and only cup of coffee I have for the day.

Oh well, s*it happens, I'll feel better later.

Tuna salad sammich w/lettuce from the deli
20 oz coffee w/real sugar & half&half (ack! I like splenda better)

Meal 3: (in a little bit)
1 large banana
water and/or CL


Liquids:
16.9 oz Crystal Lite Raspberry Ice - Done
16.9 oz Crystal Lite Raspberry Ice - drinking this one now
