Four teenagers got shot this morning in a house about 500 feet from my apartment. Two of them had gone to their prom last night. No suspects yet.

The 4th graduated from Huntington High 2 yrs ago. The police said that the oldest victim has been shot in the hand 2 weeks ago and that case had not been solved. Somebody really wanted him dead.
I'm thinking of moving. The drug activity used to stop just short of my neighborhood. It looks like it's moving. I've seen some people dealing close to my apartment.

The person living next door said they heard the girl yelling "Please don't shoot me!" followed by gunshots. There's still no arrests.

Update: Huntington Police and WV State Police SWAT teams raided two locations and arrested 5 people.
I work in the same building that houses the police station. There were reporters everwhere a few hours ago.
I'll bet when they get to the bottom of it, this will be over $20 worth of crack. What the fuck is wrong with people?

It used to be. Huntington is a small town with big city problems. It's sort of weird, but the ghetto and some of the more affluent areas are separated by only a few blocks. My apartment is sort of in between. The drug activity is normally heaviest about 4 blocks East of my area. Unfortunately it seems to be migrating my way. Marhsall University is building a bunch of new buildings in the area and I'm hoping that will boost the community a little bit and scare away the crack heads since I'm sure the university will provide 24 hour security. They will probably have to keep at least one campus cop on the property 24-7. The campus cops here are the same as city cops (they've gone to the police academy and have the same authority as any other cop)PICK3 said:

He's 17 I believe.
His parents were missionaries and lived in very nice neighborhood. Their saying he was into some drugs. And playing hard core video games.
Strange story the parents had just gotten back from going on a missionary trip.
And the neighbor noticed that their car was in the drive way but never saw anyone
for a couple of days. The mother was a nurse and never showed up for work when she was supposed to. So the neighbor called the police.
They knocked on the door and smelled gasoline. Finally when the boy came to the door and they police went on in. Well the gasoline smell was from the chain saw. He had dismember his parents but didn't finish cause the chain saw would start. The gas smell was from where he was trying to start the chain saw.
