quad injection sat down

I was just wanting to know who does their quad shots sitting down? I did a quad injection on sunday stood up and its still quite sore today, its not bad pain it just feels like i hit legs hard the day before but if i could avoid it i would.

I warmed the oil before i did the shot and injected at the rate of about 1cc per minute.

I sit and put my leg straight out in front of me. I make sure my quad is completely relxed throughout the injection and when i am done I massage for at least 2 minutes. I am always sore, but I ma injecting prop so I expect it.

I might try it then, i tryed to keep the muscle relaxed but because i injected quite slowly, my leg got quite numb from keeping still.

If you straightened your leg sat down though, wouldnt this keep the muscle tense causing the same problem?

Stood up the first time and about 5sec later got a major cramp in lat/back. So i decided to try and walk (w/out bending knee) over to the chair....not a wise idea when you got a 1 1/4" pin in your leg. It didnt hurt but I got a serious fright when i saw how the syringe moved. Have sat since then in a normal position for every quad shot and find it perfect.

i always sit, too. i feel as though it pushes the muscle out a little to the side away from the bone.

I sit on my bed, massage the quad a little so that it is totally relaxed.

Im def going to try it sat down tomorrow. I didnt think the pain would be that bad from eq and enathulate but its very sore this evening and i did the injection on sunday.

Its like i hit a nerve or something but they was no pain going in and only a bit or blood afterwards. I dont think its an abcess as there is no lump or redness.
