My friend's and I had our annual Christmas party/Yankee Swap the other night, snd the max you could spend was $20 - I picked up a $20 scratch ticket on the way to the party - my best friend ends up with it, and proceeds to win $5000.......

Funny thing is, I bought (2) tickets, - scratched (1) and gave the other as the "gift"...

I feel slighted, but am happy for him (I guess)

I actually thought it was cool, cause they hosted the party and paid for all alcohol/food/etc, so if it had to go to someone, I'm glad it was them.

Dude - he and I would have been at a strip club that night if his wife didn't SEE him scratch the ticket.

That was some of the joy I got out of it was knowing she would do something "sane" with the $$$$, but if he had just waited to scratch it............well, I would be telling another story...
