Pullovers, Chest or Back Day?

AMP 33

I just wanted to know which day you would do pullovers. On chest or back or both? I rest 3 days after chest before back.

i like doing them for back, I like the way it stretches our my lats after a hard back workout.

I find that with a machine or on a cable machine it is far more effective during a back w.o. However I do like to do them on chest day at times with a dumbell. Done properly they are a back exercise.

In terms of Dumbbell Pullovers I read once said that if you hold it by the head of the DB than it activates the Pecs/Torso and if you hold it by the hand grip than it activates the Lats... I seen a video of young Rich Gaspari in the 80s doing barbell pullovers and he did it by doing 1 rep pullover and 1 rep bench press back to back in that motion.. Looked good I think I'm actually gonna give that a try

I do them with a cambered curl bar and perform a pullover with a close grip press to hit triceps...will do this exercise to transition from chest to triceps. DB pullovers for chest, BB pullovers for back IMO...at least that is where I feel BB pullovers most.
