Protein to mix in water without gagging?

I'm almost out of my ON hydro whey. I love it. But seeing as i'm on a big calorie deficit and trying to just drop as much weight and BF% as possible while being unable to train (just cardio 1-2 times a day 5-6 days week)I'de like to drop the milk all together.
I only use probably 3 cups of milk tops daily but I'de like to cut it out for now.
Over the years I have tried a bunch of different proteins in water and they are just disgusting. Also the things like Isopure RTD's (the clear ones) are like drinking gelatin. They are gross and not even remotely cost effective. No RTD's.
Chocolate or vanilla is out because mixed with water its just...man...i'm gagging just thinking about it.

So what protein mixes well with water and TASTES good? Something in an orange, berry, fruit punch or whatever flavor that would lend itself to being in water? Anyone?
As soon as I can train again I'll go back to milk. But for now I think this would help keeping the bloat down.

You can try needtos whey to build muscle. I havent mixed it with water yet, but it tastes awesome (using the cake better one). I have also used the protein sold at walmart mixed with water and it wasnt too bad and it was vanilla. Needto has a few different flavors, I havent looked in a while though. Hell, ill go make a shake with water and tell you how it tastes.

I like all the whey2build flavors I've tried so far.

Ever since trying almond milk I'll never mix my protein powders in anything else.

Unsweetened almond milk only has 45 kcal per 8oz serving.

alright bro, not gonna lie. I just finished my shake. It was alright but I would rather mix it with milk. It wasnt hard to drink, but it just tastes alot better with milk.

I've never tried it but i'de give it a shot. I'm not so much concerned with the cals as i am the fat and obviously bloating ect.
Does it bloat you at all?

Man seeing the title, I almost jumped into saying ON chocolate or vanilla. I don't think its that bad in water, but that's IMO. ON cookies N cream taste better than chocolate or vanilla in water, but I have the casein type in that one. I love ON protein though!

NTBM protein is tasty and low in fat.. I've only ever drank mine in water and its great, very thick and mixes well.

It's lactose free so I doubt you'll bloat or get the runs.

Milk tears me up and I've never had any issues with almond milk.

My vote for this goes for ON whey protein. All I drink for protein is Optimum Nutrition. I usually drink it with milk, but on the days I have to drink it after school, before I hit the gym I have to drink it with water and it still tastes great. I've tried half of the flavors and I would say my favorites are the Coffee flavor and Mocha Cappucino. The coffee flavor tastes just like sweetened coffee with creamer. Good stuff!

I use WTBM in Cupcake Batter and Ice Cream Sandwich, and have only ever mixed them in water. Both are outstanding! I also mix strawberries or blueberries in the cupcake batter, and it tastes like strawberry or blueberry shortcake. Mix a banana in, and it tastes just like banana nut bread. Mix the banana in the ice cream sandwich, and it taste like a banana split!

So many possibilities with Needto's products!

Never had the misfortune of trying a protein that tasted terrible. With that said, Betancourt's Big Blend is delicious (white chocolate especially) as are the Gaspari Myofusion flavors.

i've dropped all dairy and all simple carbs for the past month, down 12 lbs, with no hunger or cravings, 300-400 carbs per day, all complex.. thanks to lentals ive had steady energy and great bowel movements. ha..

1 cheat day, although it comes down to 2 meals on that one day..

200g of protein..

no shakes..

I've tried alot of stuff and its all good in milk but in water it just gets well.....watery and its a texture thing. I have used ON for years primarily but have used things like NTBM, Protein factory, Isopure, ect ect. As I said I've been using ON's Hydro Whey for a while now. I'll try a scoop later in water and see. I'm also getting some almond milk to try.

myofusion is definitely some of the best tasting protein I've tried with water(tastes just like a milkshake with milk though). The trick with mixing protein and water is mix in as little water as possible to get a concentrated flavor.
