I know simple carbs differ from comple carbs, but isn't protein protein? And since the body does not determine the source that the protein ingested in your body comes from should'nt a Protein Shake or a Meat or Egg source be equal. I ask this because since ingesting 400-500g of Protein daily can be tough from solid food alone I only consume 3 solid meals a day and about 6 shakes daily to reach my calorie, protein, carb and fat requirements daily and I continuously make good gains every cycle. I hear it now and then that solid meals are better than the protein shakes and that you make better gains,. Is this true? If so explain this to me
