Protein Shakes = Gas

Anyone know of a shake that I can get here at a cdn store so gnc that wont give me gas? Its not bad when I'm alone with gas farting away. But trying to run at the gym and hold one in or in any other public place. For some reason whey smells really deathly bad lol.
 
try ISOPURE zero-carb..I've never had gas issues with it. If you need carbs or anything else you can just add them in. you may be lactose intolerant, I am and have massive issues with some low-quality proteins. ISOPURE is good stuff, there are others out there too....
 
Man I disagree 100%. I love it. Squats today? Walk over to the rack and let them rip, people will GTFO of the way and not try to do bicep curls on the damn squat rack. Claim your territory I say.

I save the big gas blasts for work..that way I can swing by peoples cubes and crop dust them...blasting in the gym scares the hotties away :)
 
GNC sucks. heh.
Go to Popeyes if you want to grab locally, they got great deals.

Just get a 100% Whey Protein Isolate, see how that works. Gaspari's myofusion doesn't seem to give me gas either. I use that for my post workout shake and Whey Isolate for the others.

We only got GNC or Reflex here. Reflex stuff is usually out dated. It would be bad if it was one or 2 farts. But like every 5 mins for a good 4-5 hrs. I'm not lactose intolerant cause I have no problems with milk and dairy products. Just whey products. It seems like the healthier I eat the worst I smell lol. It even made my gf puke once.
 
Is it increased quantity or increased quality? never had a frequency issue on protein shakes (different story with N.O. Xplode). When I bulked up years ago, I took in an insane amount of protein everyday and the the quality of my releases were devastating. There was a slight increase in frequency, but not severe. Seemed to have an increased "linger factor" as well if there is such a measurement.
 
me personally, I get the most gas from drinking any shake that was made in the blender....after going through the blender, the shakes get whipped up with air bubbles....well those air bubbles gotta go somewhere ;)

what I do now is let the shake sit for 5 minutes or so after blending, or just use a shaker cup.
 
knights agreed! I usually whip all my shakes up in the morning and let them sit in blender cups in the fridge..that way the air bubbles die down and they get icey cold. I find with egg protein they get whipped up pretty frothy and it irritates my stomach to drink them right away.
