Protecting hands to cap DNP

Since DNP can even stain through gloves,*is there any way to cap-m-quick the powder without the stains? Say, maybe using Lava afterwards, or coating hands in vaseline inside the gloves for a gel seal, etc.?

*One person here mentioned being stained despite using 2 latex gloves per hand. There was no indication if those were surgical-type thin gloves, or the heavy Rubbermaid yellow gloves...

if you wear 2 pairs of gloves it will not stain your hands... *latex* which can be purchased at costco (or the like) for 8$ for 200

lay out newspaper in a 5-6ft diameter from capping station (otherwise you will find interesting yellow stains..)

WIPE caps with a paper towel BEFORE putting in a container..

Don't use exam gloves, get your hands on some surgical orthopedic gloves, you will be fine.

Ok call me stupid,but I thought that you had to have a chemical permit to order DNP.I have a buddy of mine that owns a wood manufacturing plant and he couldn't get it.If someone could shoot me an e-mail to any links that sell the powder in bulk form I would forever be thankful.

I can't help you with your buddy's problem...

But when the time comes, the double-glove thing worked great.

And guys, don't WEAR shirts you can't trash while working with DNP!

Two pairs of gloves will do the job perfectly.......you might also want to consider some clear/safety glasses and a dusk mask to help you from breathing the beautiful smell of DNP.
