Prolotherapy Update second treatment 12/19

Hey bros,
Just to keep you all updated.
I went for my second shot. I will be going for 4 to six shots, at 2 week intervals. This will cure my tennis elbow, also works on muscle and ligament damage.
Anyway I asked my doc why I didnt get like a bunch of shots like Zyg was saying.
His response was that is called "tapping" and what the docs do is give you 30-40 picks with a drop in each to "cover" the ligament, it is common practice and he does it himself mostly for knee injuries and the like.
Im my case this was not necessary because mine is very localized. He used the analogy that when he gave me the first shot. It felt like a baked potato he was injecting into, and he said we will be done when it feels like he is injecting into a raw potato.
He will know more in a couple weeks.
I the mean time my elbow feels better, Im back in the gym, cautious on certain movements. But I started a new cycle with deca in it. So things are getting better!!

Hope this helps someone.
God Bless all and Merry Christmas.

Great news bro!! Glad to hear that the prolo is doing the trick

I myself am going in for treatment #2 next week on my elbow.
My elbow has improved dramatically , and I am currently into week 4 of my latest cycle.

I have noticed that the the soullder on the same side is getting quite sore. It looks like I have done something to my rotator cuff.

I am also going to get some treatment on the shoulder to help me get through this cycle. I am interested to see how the shoulder treatment works out. I dont think my shoulder trouble is a chronic thing, actually I think I did a couple of weeks ago while doing dumbell bench press. I started to loose the right dumbell and let it go, but I kind of dide a half ass butterfly at the same time, cuz I stupidly tried not to throw it. Should have just let it fly. Thats what I pay gym fees for!

Anyway, Ill let you guys know how I do with my prolo.

Prolo rules!!! It really works!!

anyone know what size needle the docs generally use??

i assume most insurance won't cover this but it sems to be worth laying out the money with this level of success

good luck to you both with your recovery

Good to hear things are going well Christian, as I mentioned, it doesnt work overnight but healing is slow and steady with little impact on day to day life.
