I was interviewing someone for a Supervisor position in our call center (phone interview) and she used this pronunciation of the word probably. Would you be disturbed by this? She's from the midwest so perhaps their dialect is a little more relaxed and different?

I was born up north in a very rural area and I lost the accent a long time ago but I still pronounce words like they do up there and it is a mess.

I have a big cawk though so that makes up for it.

No one in the tri-state area says probally.

Although I think I tend to say prob'bly.

I grew up in rural Nebraska.......while I do pronounce creek like crick, and I say ya'll (dad was from tx), I've always said probably the right way...
