Private Message can NOT be read by Moderators or Administrators on Elite Fitness.

Unless moderators have access to the admin control panel, they cannot read PM's, HOWEVER, admin can as per vBulletin's policy. This is a fact.

Logician writes all of our vBulleting customizations, and that feature is custom stripped from the Admin panel by choice.
EF did that after George realized that a former Admin named Kronk spent more time reading people's PMs than doing his fucking job. This is going back to 2004.

Just another complaint from people saying that you guys can read PMs. And that they "have proof" and "were told" ect ect ect... But these complaints never come with any conclusive evidence of anything. Even when they complaint about a specific issue, they never give me any real details.

I was already considering asking Logician to take away Elite Mod's abilities to read Karma messages, since members are complaining that this feature is not being used as intended... And now you guys get accused of reading PMs... A feature that was never available to Mods, and hasn't be available to Admins since 2004...


I really wish I knew the full situations so I could asses the reason's people think their PMs are being read. And go through the steps with them to eliminate any other possibilities of how their "private" info got out.. I think the answer could be a lot simpler than some EF Mod conspiracy.

i'm guessing the "proof" is some other member telling them that it's possible because their uncle's brother's son has a forum and he can read shit.
