Pride challenges UFC

If this is true it will be pretty cool although, Pride wont get every belt the UFC has i can tell you that. Chuck has a good chance to beat Silva, Matt Hughes wont be losing to anyone anytime soon, then you have guys like GSP, Anderson Silva, etc. that are top notch and can beat anyone in the same weight class from pride. It will make for better fights but they wont take over. UFC will be the biggest MMA organization in less than 10 years.
My brother was at a bar in Denver where Lidell among a few other UFC fighters were there. Some group of wanna be tough guys started shit with Lidell. My brother said that they went outside and one guy after another went after Chuck and he'd just throw a single punch dropping about 4 different guys. He said it was by far the mast bad-ass thing he's ever witnessed.

They need a venue that can seat 100,000 asses first. Pride routinely packs the Saitama Superarena which seats 37,000. The UFC probably has empty seats in the Mirage and that must have under 5,000 seats. A Pride vs. UFC event would potentially sell that many seats to the nationalist culture of Japan. It's Japan vs. the US essentially. Anyone know how many seats the Tokyo Superdome has? This event would probably flop in the US though.
