just saw this today and signed up.

Their amazon prime service, is free for a year if you sign up using an .edu email. Has to be linked to an .edu though to verify you're a student.

shit is normally $80 for the year. you pay that flat fee and anything you order from amazon is automatically shipped 2-day with no extra charge. i usually use the free super saver shipper option but that shit takes like a week and can be annoying

mine still works, too. i wasn't aware schools jacked their e-mail accounts back. i figured alumni at all schools got to keep theirs.

no.

you don't pay anything for shipping additionally.

you pay the $80 for the year and almost everything you buy (it doesn't apply to some products, i.e. sold by individual sellers) will be sent 2nd day shipping without any charge. if you don't have amazon prime, a lot of the stuff you buy can be sent free if it's over $25, but it takes 5-8 days to get there. usually a week

you can also upgrade anything to overnight shipping for an extra $3.99 if you have amazon prime

totally worth it. a toothbrush i almost bought at walmart the other day was $80, found it for $49.99 on amazon and got it in a couple of days
