Yes, but long time readers also know that there have been some very attractive ladies who posted their face up in the past and it had negative real life repercussions, impacting them in a professional way.

Really, I mean, I just think that the internet has become culture, that revealing identity would become okay, I mean what may be a cultural faux pas 3 or 5 years ago, now seems okay since technology and culture are becoming so intertwined, and cultural change is accelerating in accord with time. Basically because we don't really observe the changes and take them for granted, culture is changing so fast and now it seems that posting pics would be more okay, becaue identity is becoming more attached to online culture... I know this isn't really a practical obsevation, but this thought just appeared, and so yeah.

You know. I have to agree. I have been asked before why I would put a picture of my face on the internet or on here, in particular. My response is that I don't wear a burka in real life where thousands of people see me. Why would I refuse to show my face on a website for a few hundred?
