Poster Child For Newbies - Great Read and Advice

Indy

High End Bro
Platinum
I have been mentoring a bro on the board for some time now. He was about 45lbs overweight at 36yrs of age. He has been lifting on and off for nearly 20 years now and has one cycle under his belt. He wanted to start up another cycle to lose the body fat and regain some of his lost muscle. I explained the concept as we have on here many times, gear doesn't kill fat.

Put him on a good diet and excersize routine and towards the end when stubborn fat would not budge, a little Clen/T3 to help the cause. Now that he think's he's Brad Pitt we upped the weight training. At 5'7 165 is pretty slim and solid looking, but he wanted more. After sometime training and eating properly I started him on his 2nd cycle. 10 weeks of Test E, 500mg/week nothing more, nothing less.

He just finished his cycle 2 weeks ago and had a complete physical by his doc. She said that she has never seen someone come so far in one year. From being fat and overweight, to include high BP, Cholesterol over the top and upside down lipid profiles. He now weighs 175, hard and vascular, BP is low normal range, lipids are perfect, and cholesterol is lower than it has been since he was a young(er) man.

Newbies, gear is a great tool for enhancement, but only once the foundation is in check, this is a perfect example. Not only did losing the weight and getting into shape work out to show the gains from gear, it also allowed him to get much healthier in the process. So not only does he look good, he feels good, and IS good.

Thought I would share this as a message to everyone. I know we still get alot of questions about "what gear will make me lose the most weight" none, diet and exercise first and foremost, gear comes later.

Indy-

To this day I'm amazed by the number of guys that think they need at least a gram of test/wk to make gains. For years I did just fine on 250 mgs-500 mgs/wk (due to a limited budget)and made steady gains throughout.

Now that's what I like to hear hear! Clear cut honesty so a Bro CAN DO IT ONCE AND DO IT RIGHT!

I wish more people would just take a step back and look at the reality of what is really involved when it comes to gear. This guy did and not only has he changed his body for the better but he is healthier than ever.\

Props to you Indy for being honest and willing to mentor a guy to better overall health, very refreshing! K to you my man!

A real sunshine-story, good PR for guys like us. If it just were stories like that the papers would write down, we would be looked upon with new eyes.

I gained strength/muscle and lost a lot of fat on a cutter which consisted of 200 mg/week of deca (2/3 ml of QV 300) and 5 iu/day Jintropin. Nothing more! I gained as much strength as I've gained in the past while not cutting. However, I never "bulk" at all. And I rarely use test except for a maintenance dose. I think people are wasting a lot of juice and increasing risk and incidence of side-effects with these mega doses. How can 1g/week of test be common amongst recreational lifters??? That used to be unheard of.

Indy-

Great post especially the part of gear only being a tool for enhancement. That is exactly what gear is and a lot of people mistake it for a miracle drug not a simple performance enhancer. You still have to perform for it to enhance.

k to you sir.

Great post and absolutely true. When will ppl learn that no aas burns fat. ONly diet, cardio, and training. Also, leaner LOOKS bigger and better when gear is introduced.
