So my hand is slowly getting better and I am now able to get into some sort of regular workout without too much pain.
I'm on my way home from the gym and remember I am completely out of malto/dextrose and don't have really any carbs in the house other than rice, bread, potatoes. Ya know that kind of shit. No high GI. So I decide to stop by the gas station and pick up some sugar to toss 30 grams or so into my whey shake. Yes i don't even have sugar.
I walk in and see it and grab one and start driving home. I get in the house and pull it out of my backpack and realize I bought fuckin flour. God damnitt!!!! Fuckin moron!!
Luckily after digging around for a while I was able to find some cycling recovery packets from work and tossed one of them in. They are mostly maltodextrin or dextrose anyway.
God I'm stupid!
