looks like jnev's account's been hacked. Hate me or not, the guy I've seen posting for years would never stoop so low.

I'm still baffled as to how my opinion on the Vick case makes you need to personally attack. I don't think I personally attacked ANYONE for thinking Vick should go to Prison, is a monster, should be killed, etc. These are opinions I've all heard but never once felt the need to attack the person who stated them, instead I explain WHY I believe the things I do.

When you run out of intelligent debate, that is when the shit slinging begins.

show me one person I've called a sheeple?? I don't take things to a personal level, that does no good, I've made some broad based statements, like ignorant masses, but that certainly does not apply to EVERYONE and I'd never single anyone out.

For one, opinions can change, thoughts and beliefs (at least for me) are fluid and ever evolving. I see no need to personally attack someone.

I completely and wholeheartedly disagree with you on the Vick thing, as I do on many other topics, but I still think you are a good guy.

I think you are pretty offensive and arrogant sometimes, especially when you continually criticize people's religion, but we all have our faults.

I think animal cruelty is chickenshit, a crime, punishable, something to frown upon and denounce, I just don't think PRISON time is warrented for it.

what about mandatory mental help ? Would you feel better if he was locked up in a mental prision/institution???

I understand some people dont look at animals = or even close to = human,

but sometimes you have to remove the sickos from society, not as a punishment, but because they dont belong in society ; they really cant function in it.

Who throws away that much money, and fame over a $200,000 dollar illegal dog fighting business??? Someone who cant function or think normally.

maybe in 200 years when we realize animals can talk and are actually a different race of people, we might start letting them vote.

Emotions aren't supposed to be in the court room as much, but emotions are most certainly part of the legislative process.

I don't know much about you, nor your opinions regarding anything including the Vick case. What I don't understand is how much emotional investment you place in validation via the responses in this thread (and others).

Someone rubs you the wrong way on a forum, just like in real life, someone endears themselves to you, just like they do in real life. You can't please everyone, but thankfully, many people can empathize with others' faults.

What a stupid way to justify something, The injustice now is that people know better and to be out right cruel to something or someone is just wrong, I'm not saying slavery or the way black people were treated was right in anyway but to try and find a similarity between actions from 1870 to the present is just fucken ridiculous. Why not bring up something about apartheid while your at it

i may not agree but we all have our opinions and you cant argue about opinions. all laws are opinions of the majority. the rest have to comply even though they may not agree. the only problem i have with the vick case is i like animals. when i was 16 i killed a squirrel with a high powered bb gun and watched it jerk all over the place because it didnt die right away. it suffered for a good 15 minutes. i never shot anything ever again. now if it were for survival thats different but i buy my meats at the grocery store, works for me.
 
where is the link to this thread u r talking about. Either way someones opinion on 1 subject shouldnt change what they think of that person. So either way no respect lost here.
