Post up! I wanna know who has the most DUIs

I don't think I would be proud of DUI's and want to post that I had the most.

Fuck drunk drivers.

eat shit dickhead it can happen to just about anyone. While ball-grabbers like yourself post bullshit, 2 constituional amendments have DUI exceptions (scary if not so sad), and the federal government has more control than ever over what happens on local and state roads.

Way to go, cock.

I have one pending.

Well yeah it could happen to anybody.........but if you are stupid enough to drink and then drive you deserve to get caught. It isnt like the whole world doesnt know that drinking impairs your ability to drive safely.

so does being tired, talking on the cell phone etc.

I have driven drunk for 200 miles at a clip. I have driven home from places after 10 hours of drinking. I've been over .30 and hit the road.

Nothing happened. When I finally got my DUI, the original stop was for speeding (the classic non-DUI indicator) and I passed two of the three roadside tests. (The one I failed was administered incorrectly)

A few hours later, back at the station, I breathed a .17, roughly twice the legal limit. I was probably about .20 when I was stopped.

Proud of it? Not really.

Alcohol effects people differently. Speeding is a cause in more fatalities than intoxication. Why the double standard?

DUI has gotten out of control. The original BAC threshold was .15, as recommended by the AMA. States cut it to .10 and then to .08. Some states have gone .06 (like three beers)

A fair systemw would be two tiered - a ticket for DUI traffic stops, anda more severe punishment for DUI accidents.

The current system is tantamount to punishing weapons registration violators and murderers the same way.

Never had one, but then again I don't drink...The guy that works the register at my club just got convicted for his third DUI...Lost everything and has to pull ONE YEAR in jail....no reduced sentence....All that for drinking...It's a shame really....

Drinking increases the chances of accidents........that is one good reason for it being illegal. If you break the law then you pay the price........irrespective of whether you had an accident or not.

I agree with what you say about the situation with speeding. The punishments should be harsher for that.

Over here it is illegal to drive whilst on the phone or listening to something through headphones. Tiredness is a tough one because it is so hard to enforce. How do you tell whether a driver is too tired to drive?

You may have guessed that this is one thing that I feel strongly about.......there are too many poor drivers as it is without adding factors that make em worse. I have never driven after even one drink. Now I try to leave at least 12 hours between my last drink and when I drive. Excessive.........maybe........but I and others are relatively safe.

This doesn't sound like something to brag about. You were extremely lucky then. So were other people on the road.

Don't take it wrong.. but maybe this DUI you got now is one that you were "owed" for all the other times. Karma you know....
