Post Office has my package...should I pick up?

Ok, it's just 60 pills of Nolvadex.

I got a letter saying they attempted to deliver, but it was an oversized envelope. I can pick the package up next day the note says.

Is this fishy? I wouldn't think 60 pills would need an "oversized envelope".
Would they try to bust me for simply purchasing Nolvadex? Your thoughts.

I would think you would be fine to pick it up...

If you have a very small PO Box this could be the reason for the note

But keep a squeaky clean house anyway

As Term mentioned, if your box is small most carriers will leave notice. I usually crush it up until fits, but hey I'm too lazy to fill out the slip. One thing you have to realize, if the P.O. is trying to bust you for something, they will not leave notice for it. They will continue to try to deliver it until you are home. In some instances, they willl actually watch you to get your routine down and deliver it when they know you are home.

On the note it says I can pick it up OR "We will attempt to deliver on the next delivery day unless you instruct the post office to hold it"
but I see what you are saying. That makes sense.

I think I might just leave a note on the door telling them I'm at work and that it's alright to leave the package. I'm off tommorrow, but they don't know that.

The next day attempt is only for express packages. Express mail is attempted the 1st time no later than 3, and the second day at anytime. All other packages or accountable mail (insured, certified, registered, signature confirmation) will be attempted only once. But here's what you do. Sign the slip on the back, and check the box that says leave the package. However, this will delay delivery 2 days because the carrier will pick up the slip (postal form 3849 pink slip) the next day, and will deliver the package the following day. You best bet is to call your local Post Office in the morning and have them tell the carrier to deliver the package again that day. Then just sign the old slip and leave it in your box.

yep, I just got back from the post office. Everything went fine.

I still don't see why it wasn't just placed in my mailbox. I have a large mailbox and this package was 2 small boxes...about the size of a small envelope, just thicker.

Oh well. I'm happy now. Time to get rid of these puffy nips.

This is too funny.
I got a package in my mailbox today that was about TWICE AS LARGE than the one they said "was too big to fit" from yesterday. You should have see it... it was all crammed and wadded up in my mailbox.
