Popcorn diet?

Okay there's this new lady here at work & she eats way too much popcorn! She has it everyday for breakfast (yuck) & lunch! What is wrong with people?!

Would you believe she's not big at all?! My guess she's like 135lbs. Probably has a lot of bodyfat since she doesn't work out. But evidently her diet of popcorn isn't making her fat. Hmm...go figure. ;)
 
Ugh!! I'd starve to death -- I don't like popcorn and can't figure out how people can even eat it....

Plus, when they burn it.....OH God!!
 
I can't eat popcorn...I love it, but it gets stuck in my teeth and I can't even floss it out! I had to have my boss (a dentist) get a piece out from under my gum that was the beginning of an abcess! I was going nuts trying to get it out with all my little tools~nothing would work! Don't think I could live on it for 2 meals a day though!
 
I could totally live on popcorn but I hate to make it the old fashioned way and the microwave popcorn has soybean oil in it.

If she's eating it for breakfast and lunch she's either counting calories or dollars.
 
I *LOVE* my air popper! No butter, just some salt and a good movie. HOWEVER, if I eat too much, its just like any other carb - I get a nasty stomach until it all gets digested, soooo... I keep the popcorn intake to a minimum.
 
I can tell when my carb intake is low, I start craving some Popcorn.
I get plain, put it in a paper bag, tape it up and pop it.

Glad I'm at the office by myself or they may run me off! :worried:
 
She's a new employee & someone sarcastically commented that she must really like popcorn... she was like, "yes but it has to be fat free". Ayyyy! She might as well starve herself!
 
I used to eat a lot of popcorn when I was younger (like 12 or 13) and didn't know any better...but I was a kid and in so many sports I just burned everything right off so it didn't matter.

That's better than the lady @ the office where I worked for the summer who is always talking about how she wants to lose weight (widest chair butt I've EVER seen) but brings in Dunkn' Donuts every morning, drinks that new Pepsi that has "lower" calories/carbs, and munches on Skittles and other candy or chips all day. OH but wait, she eats salad for lunch, so that must be ok, right?
 
I just remembered something my mom would make for the holidays, some kind of popcorn balls, loaded with maple syrup or honey and butter, then wrapped in plastic to keep them fresh. Mmmmm!
