I am platinum so I can do things like search and such, but I am also a platinum member because it takes good deal of cash to run an have a site hosted. It's not a zero cash venture. I'm part of this community and contribute to it's finances much the same what I might tithe at a church or give money to a gym.

I will say this. The threads that have been locked and the harassment of members is bullshit. I noticed that Platinum was picking up speed there for a couple weeks, and now it has slowed back down to a crawl. It is possible some people get tired of the crap and log off to go where they can post what they want without a renegade admin padlocking everything. Now we all know Digger is in position of authority and comes across a little harsh sometimes, but he is not the only one around here locking threads. Dont blame Digger everytime someothing gets locked.

BTW, if it doesn't violate TOS, then it should not be locked. George Spellwin and 2thick and Fonz will all tell you that. I am not defending Karma Threads, they violate the rules and everywhore knows that! But innocent bullshit threads for fun do not deserve to be locked IMO. That is why you must meet secretly and exchange Karma without attracting so much negative attention! (a-hem! yes you!)
